Easy to set up, has detailed instructions. Faster than the ink jet I had been using with exceptional print quality. I love this printer, it’s quieter, well constructed and looks professional. Crisp text and vibrant colors. Great value for the money. Nice size that fits on my crowded work space. I would also add that it comes with “starter” toner cartridges already installed. They seem to print about the same amount of pages as perhaps my old ink jet printer would. Xerox sells “regular capacity” cartridges that print an impressive amount of pages, as well as extended cartridges for this model that they claim print very large quantities of pages, probably enough to last me a year or two. What I personally love with this printer is how cost effective it is to print, ease of operation and low maintenance requirements. My old ink jet would require “head cleaning” that used massive amounts of ink because if not used regularly the ink would dry and have to clean ink heads wasting both ink and paper, even then the quality was only so-so. This Color laser printer doesn’t have those problems, it prints crisp, vibrant and laser clear prints every time be it used daily or only occasionally, you can count on professional quality prints every time. Also unlike ink jet printers, if a printed page gets a little wet, or coffee cup set on it the ink smears, not with this Xerox Laser Printer. Perfect prints EVERY TIME and professional quality. I love this Xerox so much, I would toss all my ink jets, however I can’t because I cannot scan with this. My ONE RECOMMENDATION is to spend the nominal amount to purchase the model with the scanner and automatic document feeder. That is an option for this printer, I absolutely love it, but if I could go back in time I would have spent the small amount extra for the scanning capability. I absolutely love this printer, and Xerox is a legacy company with an established reputation of quality and longevity. You can’t go wrong on this! So easy to set up and use, I can even air-print directly to it. Love it, love it, love it!

This printer was easy to get up and running. It walks you through the install of the mobile app and then the app allows you to complete the install and WiFi connecting with a scan of the QR code. The paper tray holds quite a bit, but there's also a slot to feed single pages or envelopes into. Bear in mind this is exclusively a color laser printer and does not have a scanner. Each of the colors and black are all in individual cartridges which is nice as you don't have to buy a whole new all-in-one or three color cartridge just because one color ran out. I did have issues with the black toner cartridge when I first set it up. I went through the troubleshooting on the Xerox website, which didn't really solve the issue. I tried to see if the connectors needed cleaning and saw that one was actually slightly out of place. I carefully put it back into place and printed the test pages again and it worked! I suspect that at some point it got jostled but as that's probably not a reflection of the printer itself, I'm mentioning it but that isn't reflected in my rating. The print quality is great. It handles most text type stuff easy and fast. Color stuff is crisp and vibrant as well. There might be some tasks that inkjet might be better suited for in terms of color saturation, but honestly this printed what to my eyes seemed to be photo quality so I can't ask for more than that. It's pretty quiet as well as far as printers go. Definitely more quiet than my inkjet printer. From what I can see, this is a very solidly built printer than I think is designed to be used at a professional/business level for years and I'm thrilled to have it! Recommended

Okay, the printer itself deserves five stars! It is small, has individual toner cartridges, and is designed to fit in a tight space while completely serviced from the front. My issue, and the absence of the 5th star, comes from trying to get the blankety-blank drivers installed on my computers! Don't believe for a moment that you can just download and engage the installer! In fact, don't even bother to try until you have asked a good AI program to guide you through deleting and resetting all the stuff scattered throughout your computers that will trigger either an "ERROR" or a "Driver not found" frustration that will take you hours to resolve. Xerox support was not available, since it required an actual person to help with the problem, and I began installing it Friday evening. FORTUNATELY, CoPilot was very aware of the challenge, and guided me from roadblock to roadblock with instructions that removed them. It took most of a day to connect it with two of my four computers, the second being as frustrating as the first. When I have the time, and feel a high level of patience, I will get it working with with the other two. Again GREAT PRINTER, once you get it to work with your computers. The copies are beautiful.

This is an excellent wireless color laser printer. The set-up was very simple and easy. I did not have any issues starting the printer. It gives you instructions in the manual once you unpack age it. All ink toners are included with this printer, which makes it really convenient. The print quality is good, prints clearly and doesn't smudge once your print job is completed. The printer itself is heavy, so I would suggest taking the plastic bag it comes with to lift it up and placing it on the table or desk where you want it located for easier access. I placed mine on the floor, then had to move it to a table and it was heavy to lift. One person can do it, but it would just be easier if you set it up in the location where it will stay. It also indicates that the black toner should be able to print up to 1,500 pages, which is great. You will not have to worry about replacing the toner any time soon. Of course, depending on how often you print, etc. It also gives you the option of setting up refills throughout the site and the touch screen on the printer. You can clearly see in the images how well it prints and how clear it is. When printing, you will notice that it is not immediate, but it does print within seconds, which is nice. Not as quick as your larger printers but works for a home business, homeschooling or printing paperwork needed from the comfort of your home. This printer does not scan or fax, so that is something to consider. You can also set it up to print from a tablet, laptop or phone. Very convenient when on the go and you need to print something quickly. Great product for printing and works great!

I got this Xerox C240 for my kids to share as their home printer, and they absolutely love it. It has been a great addition to our home because they can easily print school assignments, projects, and other documents without having to wait or deal with complicated setup. The wireless connection makes it simple for everyone to use from their own devices. The print quality is excellent, especially for a compact printer. Text is sharp and clear, and the color printing looks great for school projects, presentations, and anything that needs a little more detail. I recently decided to upgrade the workspace for my footwear reselling business and I picked up the Xerox C240 color laser printer to help manage my daily inventory sheets and shipping labels. The setup was incredibly straightforward and the easy mobile connection allowed me to get everything configured directly from my phone without any hassle. Following the instructions was a breeze since everything was clearly outlined, saving me the headache of dealing with complicated networking steps. The ease of use is fantastic and the wireless connection stays completely reliable throughout the entire day, meaning I can print invoices from the living room without having to constantly run back and forth to my desk. When it comes to my daily workload, the print quality has been absolutely outstanding and makes all of my business flyers look incredibly professional with sharp text and vibrant colors. I received this printer a few days ago and have since put it through its paces, printing some test pages, a couple of multipage documents, and some color photographs. I look forward to using it more in the days and weeks ahead, but for now here is my bottom-line assessment: It's an excellent choice for those needing to print sharp documents, especially when a high pages-per-minute speed is important, and who are able to absorb (or don't care about) the cost of replacement toner cartridges. The niche it's most likely to fit is that of the small business owner or a small office manager, and (going by its sales page), those are the segments it's marketed to. As for me, I'm a (mostly) retired former writer and editor who dabbles with various creative projects requiring occasional printouts, as well as someone who sometimes needs to print out household and family related documents. For many of these things my old, slow Brother printer works just fine. Nevertheless, I can see that a finer printer such as this Xerox will be handy for some of my tasks. Unpacking was pretty simple. There's an included sheet that graphically shows the steps to remove the various tabs and dividers that (I'm guessing) are there to keep sensitive parts safe in transit. Follow those steps exactly and you're good. Now as to setting up the printer and connecting it to your devices: I did NOT find it as easy to use as the maker and other reviewers promised. You must use an app that you download to your smartphone. I got the app and followed instructions exactly, but still couldn't connect. Then I embarked on a frustrating hour of jumping between the phone and the printer's own control screen, reading Xerox's support pages, finding and plugging in PINs and ip addresses and I don't know what all (it's all a blur to me now). Finally, somehow, I actually got the phone properly connected to the printer and was able to print out a test page. Yay! The next hurdle was getting my laptop to recognize and connect to the printer. This was critical for me. I mean, who prints from their phone and not their computer? Maybe some people, but not me! Xerox has a special app called the Xerox Print and Scan Experience that you download, and I think maybe comes bundled with the correct drivers, too. Downloading and installing it was easy, but it took me awhile to get the printer to work from it -- but THIS WAS MY FAULT in this case. It turns out I had a VPN running. When I disconnected from the VPN, printing started working. I should have remembered that using a VPN can interfere with sending things to a printer. I don't know why it does, but it's something to keep in mind -- a word to the wise! As noted, I have now printed a few things, and I have no qualms about the print quality. It is excellent in both black-and-white and color; very sharp. If you have a business where you need to produce documents to show a client, you can rest assured that the output will be professional looking. In the attached video I print a 5-page text document in black-and-white, and a color photograph. I show the results in the still images as well. It all looks great. This was all done on regular copy paper, by the way; I do think if I were printing photo images "for real," though, I would use actual photographic paper for the best look. Speed? Well, the specs say it will achieve up to 26 pages per minute, which leaves my clunky old Brother printer in the dust. I assume that 26 ppm is for uncomplicated (text only?) documents in black and white, and that complex layouts with graphics and/or color will be slower. I do note that it rapidly spits out pages only after several moments of first making noises and getting ready to print. Probably this is because of the spooling process as a document is sent from the computer to the printer. Now for the cons, from this user's perspectives: This printer doesn't do scans, and you can't use it as a copier. It is strictly a one-trick device. It's a great printer, with little versatility. Be aware of this if you're used to printers that do a little of everything. Then there's the issue of toner life. I haven't had it long enough to experience it for myself, but from other reviews it seems as though you might be running through toner cartridges rather rapidly if you routinely print many multipage documents and/or use a lot of color. The manufacturer's replacement cartridges are said to be pricey, though of course there may be cheaper unauthorized substitutes available. To wrap it up: The print quality and speed of this printer are praiseworthy. Due to the lack of features such as scanning and copying -- and the matter of cartridge replacement expense -- I'm leaving off one star. But that's based on my own particular needs and wishes. Those who need a good printer and printer only, and who don't worry about the expense of keeping it in toner, may well find it a "5."
