I have 3 dogs on 3 different types of food. I previously had a different set similar to this. It didn't last long, was not sturdy and didn't stack well. They cracked in the middle of the night and fell over spilling dog food everywhere. I woke up to my dogs laying on their sides, barely wanting to move after having the feast of a life time! I immediately searched for a new set and found these. These are so much better! They stack nicely, are sturdy and compact yet hold a decent amount of dog food. I am very happy with my purchase! These stack nicely and the lids fit well. They're sturdy enough and clean out easily. My only complaint is the lids don't *fix* to the top of the tubs. Hit them the wrong way and they knock right off. The lids don't stay open while you're scooping, you have to hold them open. Small issue. If you need something simple that does the job, these work fine. But if you need something that keeps pests like ants out I'd find a model that the lids are fixed to. ... show more

I cannot say enough about how great these are! Its so easy to tip them into a front loading machine and just dump everything! We use the bottom one for whites, the top two for colors. They are light and easy to move around within my small space. Sometimes I put them empty on top of the fridge while I get the other out. Sometimes I carry one around to collect laundry. Love how functional they are! If I could change one thing, I would make them a little bigger. They are about a medium/large load in our XL machines. This works out for us since we switched to dropps detergent, which seems to work best on slightly smaller loads. I also DO NOT recommend these for unsupervised children... and even then, probably no, unless you don't plan to stack them- maybe? The problem is, if you put pressure on the angle, expectedly, it tilts forward, almost covering me in some laundry (funny), but maybe not as funny with little ones. ... show more

These containers work as advertised, but they're definitely flimsy. The container portion isn't bad though flimsier than I'd like, but the lids sag significantly when stacked even when not overly filled. My biggest issue is that the lids are extremely loose, no clasp, snap, or any securement whatsoever; they're purely held on by gravity, and that includes the front flap; if any of my pets were so inclined they could very easily nose the flap open. We're just really lucky they're well behaved. If the lid had some sort of clip-on function I'd be a lot happier. All in all, it's not bad enough to want to return, but I'm definitely not thrilled with my selection. ... show more
