It is well taught out. It seems that it should last for a time. Building it will take a bit of time. (Beware of big assembled items that come in small/heavy boxes). It comes in a heavy box, so remember that when you go out to get it. It does work well. Be careful of the back screws, they are small and I was able to twist the head off of one on them while I was assembling it. I do like how it looks and my kitchen island needed more counter top work space. It does not come with garbage cans. You can fit 2 10 quart garbage cans. Don't be like me and measure from the front of the tip out drawer. It will NOT fit a 23 inch garbage can. You'll need a sub 20 inch can. My German shepherd does like sampling the garbage. She is too smart for most dog proof cans and figures out how to access it. So far she hasn't been able to get to it. I don't notice any smell from the garbage. But again, my smelling ability took a hit from the 2020 virus.

This cabinet was super simple to put together. However, like other reviews said, it did take a long time. It took about 4 hours, a drill was definitely necessary for the number of screws. It’s very well made, and no issues with missing or misaligned parts. The screws all fit where they needed to, with no threat of tearing or loosening. Everything was clearly labeled. The instructions are very easy to follow. It looks great in the kitchen. The downsides are mostly minor. The back of the top piece was really rough and caused some splinters. However, since that entire section is hidden, it wasn’t a big deal one the board was in place. Another piece, also hidden, had a peeling finish. A piece of tape fixed the issue, but it was a surprise given that the cabinet is otherwise great quality. The worst part is that one of the handles came bent and does not match to the screw anymore. I will have to purchase new ones. Everything else is great. Some reviews mentioned plastic clips for the swing mechanism—mine has metal. It does not look like it’s in danger of breaking or tearing.

This is a beautiful cabinet with great extra counter space. I’d give it 5 stars if it didn’t take 4hrs to assemble and one of the drawer brackets were bent so one of the drawers is annoying to close. We use it for a dog food holder and it’s a perfect replacement for our old single one. Dry sturdy and solid and fits 2 35lb bags of dog food. I choose this one as the actual dog food cabinets had a wasted space to hold the dog bowls at the bottom which I didn’t needs and this had 2 extra drawers.

Very nice, Did take my granddaughter and daughter a while to put it together. It does not fit just a regular 10 inch garbage can that has a rounded lip on it. So, They are hard to find or very expensive trash cans that are 10 gallons with no lip or at least no rounded lip.

I bought this item and had realistic expectations based on the reviews. 1. The item had a much longer delivery time than originally posted on my purchase. 2. The overall quality of the product is incredibly cheap. It is engineered wood, which I expected but it was flimsy, shiny and feels hollow, overall it looked like cheap furniture. The review photos gave the impression it would look like decent quality, but it was not. 3. There were several pieces but the instructions were relatively easy to follow. My disappointment came after I completed step 3 and realized the majority of the wood pegs (Dow rods) were dry rotted and immediately shredded when I tried to connect the pieces from steps 1-3, making it impossible to complete installation. 4. The internal hardware (door sliders) were bent, I was able to work through that but it was still a pain. 5. Once I realized I would not be able to fully assemble or use this product, I disassembled and carefully re-packaged it into the original box (which showed damaged on arrival). What I did not do was take photos of all the poor quality, broken items prior to re-packaging. The box was heavy and took two people to carry it. I am a single female and live in a 3rd floor apartment. I had a friend help me carry it up and then back down once I realized I needed to return the item. However, now that I am trying to return the item, the seller is requesting I take photos of all the broken parts/pieces/damaged box before allowing a refund. I do not have the ability, time or patience to do that so I will accept the loss. If you are looking to buy this product I would choose another seller, perhaps one that has a better quality product and an easier return process.

GREAT quality. Our old cans fit in nicely...we wanted something the dog could not get into. Does not come with cans but standard cans fit well. Easy assembly but do recommend at least 2 people to build. Took 2 hours for 2 of us to build. Worth the time and effort!!! Stays open so easy to peel vegetables into the can and do not slam shut. Very sturdy to hold anything on top that you want.

Ours had a few missing pieces when we first got started. The first half was fairly straightforward to assemble, but as we started to get the drawers and doors put together, it was very confusing. My wife and I are both pretty handy and have built many projects from scratch... and we struggled. The instructions clearly had mislabeled parts with out of order steps. It seems like the instructions don't match the unit that it was packaged with. It took as 2-3x as long as it should have. We just finished building it and we are happy with the aesthetic and it is fairly solid. I would honestly recommend getting something else unless you feel like giving up the better part of your day and don't mind getting creative with assembly.
