I needed to replace the make shift counter with drawers (old TV stand on its last legs in the last picture I uploaded) I was using in my kitchen to hold my recycling to go out, and this unit ticked all the boxes. 2 drawers to organize small stuff. A pull out door to house a trash can to hold my recyclables. A regular door with a couple of shelves to organize the medium stuff. A nice looking top that doesn't look like pressboard. It had to be white to match the cabinets in the rest of the kitchen. Assembling this was a little confusing as some of the instructions weren't always clear >to me< (I have assembled a lot of stuff but that doesn't mean the issue wasn't with my interpretation). If I go back through them and remember the parts that were confusing, I will update this post. Meanwhile I couldn't find the dimensions on the space that holds the trashcan so here they are if others are looking for them. NOTE: the width and depth measurements are the inside measurements of the 5" tall box that is attached to the inside of the door at the bottom. Think of it like a shelf with a 5" lip to hold the trash can in place, and the door is connected to that shelf on the bottom. I hope I made sense there. 16 & 1/4ish" wide (it was 16 & 1/4" right where the box meets the inside of the door but it got a tad larger the further away you got from the inside of the door). 11 & 1/4" deep. ~21" tall/height The height measurement is interesting because while the inside cavity the door opens into is taller than 21", the angle you open the door on means the trashcan can only be so tall and still clear the underside of the countertop. You might be able to go 22" tall on a trash can, but it gets into some weird geometry to make sure it clears the bottom of the countertop. Here is the trash can I got to use with it and it's working fine as the measurements fit within the ones I listed above: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00030L5HY Most trash cans are tapered on the bottom so technically you get a larger one as it could be wider and deeper at the top of the can so long as the bottom was tapered to fit in those dimensions, but I gave up trying to max/min the space and got the trash can listed above and it is working fine. I did have one issue with the unit, and that's when I went to pull out the right drawer the tabs on the rails that are supposed to catch a draw and stop it from coming all the way out didn't really work. As a result the drawer shot out and landed on my tile floor which caused the front of the drawer to break off. After some swearing, wood glue, and patience I was able to get it back together enough to return the draw to service. If I was going to ding this unit for anything, it's that the drawers should be sturdier, at least with the rail stopping tabs if not also the materials used. All in all I am very happy with this unit given how much it cost. A bonus is the trash can door opening is on a ratcheting mechanism which is a nice way to open to the trash can inside and have it hold in an open position (there is 2 or 3 positions it will stay open at. ... show more

Read all the reviews before buying they all have similar things in common. The instructions are worthless even for someone who has put together tons of furniture. Something is guaranteed to break because the wood is so cheap just barely a step above cardboard. Also comes scratched and dented. The concept is there but this is a Waste of money ... show more

This product was very poor quality for the cost. I have bought things at Walmart that are better quality. The directions are not great and they give you no extra parts like screws or the washer lock things in case one is messed up which was the case for us so one part is missing a piece now. The paint chipped off at the handle and the front of the trash section is coming apart already. And the worst part is the lever for the tilt out trash door clicks whenever you open or close it and it is quite loud. Overall ver disappointing. Would not recommend. ... show more

It is a very nice addition to our Kitchen for trash and a coffee bar. It wasn't the easiest to put together and the instructions were confusing at times but, once we finished piecing it together it turned out nicely. It came with all of it parts and even sent some extra screws. We love it! ❤️

It took me 5 hours to assemble this by myself but it was worth it. We needed extra storage in our new kitchen and a solution for the garbage to be away from the dog and cats. I'm obsessed with how it looks and the garbage tilt is so convenient. It looks like it always belonged in that spot. Definitely worth the money. ... show more

    • Poorly thought out instructions

It took me a few hours to set this up. I feel like whoever put the instructions together need to be fired. The base should have been assembled first and then add the three panels. I did it the way the instructions said and one of the screwed in pieces broke to which I got wood glue to try and salvage it. I’m not happy about that. The order of directions needs to be readdressed. After I salvaged what I could I set it up and then found out my trashcan was too tall-which is my fault. It looks nice however I feel like it was over priced now that I think about the directions and the fact that the wood broke so easily. ... show more

If I could do a zero star review I would. It has numerous amounts of damage and scratches not to mention two missing pieces I'll have to make myself and throw on it ..... Definitely do not buy. Also the hardware is junk too, the knobs and handles are plastic which the handle for the drawer stripped out by tightening with just my hand.. ... show more
