I picked up this Aqua-Tainer to use as a water collection tank for the condensation from my portable air conditioner, and it’s been a fantastic solution. The size is perfect—large enough to hold a good amount of water but still manageable to move around. Pros: Spacious Yet Compact: The 7-gallon capacity is more than enough to handle several days' worth of condensation from my AC unit, even during the hottest days of summer. Despite its capacity, the container doesn’t take up too much space and is easy to store or transport. Durable and Sturdy: The rigid design feels really solid. I’ve been using it all summer long, and it’s held up without any issues. No leaks, and the material feels like it’s built to last. Easy to Handle: Even when full, it’s easy enough to carry and empty, thanks to the handle on the side. The spout is also really handy for controlled pouring. Multi-Purpose: Though I’m currently using it to collect water from my AC, this container would also be perfect for camping or emergency water storage. Its versatility is a big plus. Cons: Spout Design: The spout works well but could be a bit easier to open and close, especially when it’s full. It’s a minor issue, though, and doesn’t take away from the overall usefulness of the container. Final Thoughts: This Aqua-Tainer is exactly what I needed for water collection, and it exceeded my expectations. It’s durable, easy to use, and holds a great amount of water without being too bulky. Perfect water can for my needs. Heavy enough material to contain a full load of water. Saves me many trips up and down stairs to get water for my basement garden

Con: it's so well made that although I can tell ergonomics was considered, and its large capacity beyond the standard 5 gallon cube, it makes regular lifting not safe unless one uses a dolly. The handle shouldn't even be considered when its full because only center core should any strong grown heavy weight lifter should attempt it especially on the regular. Double and centered side control handles should be the only placement on these for actually lift handling when full otherwise a dolly is the only wise course of action. It also takes so.e time for the chemical smells to fade out of existence. Pro: largest, best made, best looking water storage cube on the market at a price that gut signals: BUY BUY. Easy to clean, seals good, taste is okay after initial lingering chemical smell and taste fades out. With double sided handle and design for stacking and safe dollying this product i can see no further potential improvement other then no initial chemical smell.

I was surprised by this container. I expected it to store water, which is all I needed it to do, but many of the reviews had me nervous to purchase them. I am glad I listened to the majority of reviews that praised this product. I am very happy that I purchased this container. I didn't know, by the product image, that it had a pourable/controllable spout. I knew it had the vent and the cap. So I was pleased to find the spout under the cap, and that it was better quality than the reviews for the add-on/replacement spout had me believe. I figured it was so well priced that the spout was sold separately -- I was wrong. Some reviews mentioned that the container is thin. I wouldn't say that is the case here. The container is sturdy and the plastic is plenty thick. It's not going to tear like a garbage bag, and it isn't going to stop a bullet, but it is thick enough to hold up well. When filling, I often have a hard time telling how full it is without direct sunlight on the container -- to view the water level. You can dent/damage the container with some force, but you'd have to try. I did notice that the replacement spout I bought, not knowing it came with the spout when I purchased it, had a rubber vent stopper with the vent cap. I am using the container as it was originally and haven't tried the replacement rubber stopper and vent cap. The container as is works great, so I just keep the replacement as a back-up. I've read in some reviews that the spout is prone to breaking, but it really seems pretty sturdy. Again, I think you'd have to be pretty rough with it to break it. My favorite feature is that these are stackable. I liked the first one so much that I bought another one today, and decided to write this review. I'll probably get a couple more later -- and stack them. I use them to store water for indoor gardening. I could easily see these used for many other uses like: camping, emergency water, off-road vehicle coolant reserve, and more. I would definitely recommend these containers to others.
