I ordered the umbrella for use when I go Plein Aire Painting. Took it for a test drive when I was painting on the beach by Lake Michigan. It worked wonderfully, easy set-up, and stable for the most part due to the weight of the umbrella ensemble and a few pegs to hold it down. Winds were light to modest coming off the lake, but it stayed upright while I painted. It kept more than enough shade over me and my easel. I am little concern of how long all the plastic parts will last, but for now....it works for me. Very durable, although the wind did blow it over a few times. It was worth the purchase. Loved the cup holders and hooks to hang items, I like have versatile it is and how you can adjust the higher and tilt to any angle. Very easy to assemble and breakdown.

The packaging and delivery- no complaints. The umbrella material is very thin and easily tears. I would describe the material as feeling slightly thinner than a regular rain umbrella. I suppose that is due to the nature of it's intended use, to block the sun. It's easy to set up, it comes with portable attachments. I used it on two occasions the shade developed small tears, Amazon replaced it. The first time I had to reorder and Amazon credited my account. The second time, Amazon just replaced the product. I used the new box to return the damaged product. I recommend the product, it works as intended, light weight, easy set up, the shade is delicate. ... show more

I LOVE it! I've lived in AZ for over 30 years and live to work in the yard. It's always sunny here and quite hot but it's hard to have shade when I am constantly moving around the yard. This is THE VERY BEST PORTABLE SHADE I have ever had! The wind did take it into my pool once and it was fine even though it was at the bottom. I have used this umbrella all summer to shield me from the sun on my porch. It works really well, and is adjustable in several places. I'm very happy with it. It is light, and easy to move around, and I didn't want to get a heavy sand bag to weight it down in the wind so I just jammed the legs under the railings and that works. I love the concept of a stand, because you can’t always screw a beach umbrella into the ground. Overall the quality of the umbrella is great. I like that you can order replacement parts if needed. I only gave it 4 stars because the new bag is crap. It already started tearing after a handful of uses. I like that the put a pocket in the bag to protect the umbrella from the stand (this is why my old umbrella was tearing) but the bag fabric is just not good. The umbrella will outlive the bag for sure. This is our second one. The first was a used one a friend gave me. After many years of hot summers and soccer games the fabric started to deteriorate and rip easily. So I needed a replacement. I priced out the replacement fabric and a missing part and just decided to get a new one. And at some point I will replace the fabric on the other one. ... show more
