I bought this cookware set four years ago, and I absolutely love it. The heat retention of this cookware is amazing, and it cooks nice and even. I love the lids, especially because I don't have to use a separate strainer when I cook pasta, potatoes, rice etc. It is easy to clean, too, especially because it is dishwasher safe. When there is discoloration because of certain foods I cook, I either cook spinach in the cookware or I use Barkeeper's Friend and the cookware looks like new again.

The box is not damaged. But the 16cm pot-handle had been breakdown. The other 3 are complete. How can I do?

I am a huge WMF fan but I have to say these pans have let me down. While they are a pleasure to cook with other than sticking, I have had some issues with the quality. First, I noticed on all of the pans that the weld marks from manufacturing them can be seen from inside the pan. Where each handle is welded on the outside, there are 2 "divets" on the inside of each pan..on each side..so 4 weld marks inside each pan. I e-mailed WMF with pictures and they told me that mostly all of their pans have this and it is normal. I am no expert, I just like the quality of past WMF products so I thought this was acceptable. Secondly, after using the pans only a few times,mostly to boil water or make soup, the bottoms of them has gotten a terrible looking whitish color over top of all I can describe as a rainbow affect on the stainless. I have not put these in the dishwasher, only carefully hand washed them and I can see streak marks all over the bottom in the whitish residue that will not come off. I have tried a stainless polish with some luck but I haven't had to do that to even my cheapest pans when they were new. What a let down. I want to love these pans, but they are now ugly inside unless I keep polishing them. Who polishes stainless steel? I thought that was the point, it's supposed to be STAINLESS. I would contact WMF again, but who wants to pay to send them back or be told this is normal for $400 cookware.
