I love these boots! I have narrow feet and high arches and have struggled to find a boot that actually fit. Most hiking type boots are way too wide. These fit perfectly at first try-on and are snug with a roomy toe box. I have the Rum Raisin color and its a very pretty dark brown. I am not a hard core hiker and just was looking for an affordable boot that would work for local trails or exploration. These are exactly what I needed. These boots are VERY nice! They're sturdy, have lots of traction on the trail and are very visually appealing. As far as fit goes, I would definitely reccomend sizing up. I wear a 7 womens in boots and sized up to a 7.5, they fit snug. I have a narrow foot, and the toe box has just enough room. I could have sized up to an 8 for thick socks during winter. The Vasques brand is the best hiking and walking shoe I have ever had. Have worn-out several pair through out the years, IT IS A SHAME REDWING BOUGHT THEM OUT AND HAS DISCONTINUED THE VASQUE BRAND. Shoes are personal and what works for one person may not work for another. I will say that I have tried many brands, La Sportiva, Oboz, Lowe, trail runners, zero drop, to name a few, but I always come back to this particular shoe the Vasque Breeze. I like that it has extra rivets to lace shoes since I'm sometimes creative on how I lace shoes. Also has the tab in the back of the shoe to help pull it on; sounds stupid but shoes that don't have the tab are awkward to put on and take off such as the Oboz. After many miles and three pairs of Vasquez Breeze boots, I can no longer enjoy the perfect fit of yesteryear. My feet have special needs and the design of boots no longer works for me. I bought two sizes, 7.5 wide and 8. While they both fit, neither was something I could hike in. Returned both pairs. Refund is taking forever for one pair. ... show more
