I used this cover for my Dog Cave AC. I will say this was a little bigger than I needed. However, if I needed to add foam insulation around my AC, it would have fit better. The straps held up fine. This cover is nice and thick with a mellow grey color. It also doesn't smell like a dead fish like several of the other AC covers I have attempted to use. One thing that wasn't clear to me before purchase is that the straps are sewn into the cover. If you have a unit you can just slide the cover on then then it is fine and the straps are made of a wide durable material, but if like me you need to adjust where the straps are you will have problems. Also, the clip on one of the straps broke before we even finished tightening the other one. We had some other straps handy and used those instead but it was disappointing.

I bought this for a senior friend of mine who has a new AC unit that can stay in the window for the winter. He was VERY hesitant to do so as he experience is you take them out in the winter. I was very impressed when I inspected the cover. It's very well made, it's made of very durable sturdy material. I put it on the AC unit which was a breeze. I could reach the unit from the outside, no need to take the unit out of the window. The attached straps tighten securely and won't loosen and hold the cover on tight. A couple of weeks later I asked how it was working and he told me he had to Lower the thermostat for the Livingroom as it was now too warm with the cover on. Great product for the price. Recommend

This is the first year that I decided to cover my AC unit as we are getting older and struggle to install it every year. I installed the cover myself, a 71 year old woman. The measurements were a few inches too long with the depth, but I folded the excess inward before sliding it over the unit and wrapping the attached straps. The straps are much longer than needed, so I just slid them behind the tightened straps. The color stated on the one I bought says blue, but it is actually a grey, which is fine. So I am happy so far, but wonder how the straps will hold up under the weather conditions.

I wanted to wait until fully tested before writing a review on this product. Upon receipt, I was satisfied with the strength and sturdiness of this product. It is constructed of a tightly woven material, with a waterproof interior, and strap/buckle closure. It was very easy to install, as it only required one person, no tools and is self-explanatory. I have now had it installed for a couple of months, and it has experienced a minimum of three (3) high "hurricane" wind, heavy rain storms, in addition to a couple of snow storms. The cover has not budged from its original installation, the material still remains intact, and looks new (not worn). Overall, satisfied with purchase.
