We all have ordered things and had that moment of "....this looks nothing like what I ordered". Fortunately, this isn't one of those things. Let it sit flat on your table for like 10 mins and its good to go. Of course, putting something on it like a book or whatnot is advisable. I have a husky, and he saw the window unit as an 'escape' option. He literally punched the extenders out of the window! This blends well with the frame and the rest of your wall and tricked him into losing interest. It is easy to cut and adhere to window, just be wary with the 'tape' as it can stretch and be a little finicky when installing (sticking to fingers, scissors when trying to cut it, etc) It also is noticeable for insulation, you can literally hold your hand up to it and feel a difference between it and the window above it. Two sided tape quite hard to handle and manipulate. Sticks to everything, including your fingers and itself.

Put it around the entire AC unit above , below and the sides. Not a single drop of water or bugs has entered so far this summer like past yrs. Highly recommend . Our window was bigger than what we got but we were able to cut it and got the whole window.

Its a piece of fake leather with 0 instalation. There's not even a pattern to cut. Look for something better that will actually work.

    • Great to block air from entering or leaving house.
This worked great to help me install my cat door in the window. I was easy to cut through and attach the cat door to it. I used window tape to hold it into place and block off any holes between the window and Vent blocker. It’s helped to keep my house warm during the winter months and keep my cats happy! ... show more
