I have had two of these running in a 24x7 linux RAID 1 mirror set for a little over a year and neither has missed a beat. Not a bad choice for your own personal Nas. I ended up returning two of these because they started developing transient bad sectors. I am butchering the terms, but basically the drive is having trouble with the sectors in question. The other reason was the case I had couldn't cool the drives. Turns out that one of the drives did recover during my data wipe phase. In the future I will consider buying again. ... show more

Arrived in a sealed static bag and drive itself looks brand new. Looked at SMART data with Crystal Disk. It's showing 42,000+ hours with 39 power cycles. Drive had no partitions, added to Windows 10, partitioned, and formatted with no issues. Drive is quiet and cool. Hopefully it holds up. I have Crystal Disk monitoring SMART data for potential failure. If the 42K hours is correct, that's almost 5 years of continuous usage. The seller I bought from was Evrymm. ... show more

Either the drive is an old stock bnew or SMART data is wiped out. Bought 3 of these and after 3 months, they're still running.

The drive has 2 partitions and won't allow you to delete them and form one large partition. Even used a windows USB Bootable drive to delete them in the install menu. Now I have way too many drive letters. C,D,E,F,G,H.

I bought two of these to put in my brand new Tomahawk z690 DDR5 i5 13600k computer. All of my drives are m.2 except these two which I have mirrored. The plan is to copy everything off of one of my nas servers. Anyway they look like new and were very easy to setup.
