Great value (purchased the UK version)
Capacity: 28TB Style: 2 Bay
I was looking at the 24 terabyte drive to begin with and found the 28 TB drive was cheaper at the time of my viewing. My plan is to consolidate several drives I have music, audiobooks, and photos on. When I connected the drive it was ready to go to work. Shipping was exceptionally quick and free. The only downside I found on the drive was the lack of a US power cable to connect to US wall plugs. When I got the drive I checked and found the plug is common enough and had a cord available. You can find the power cord here... https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Samsung-Toshiba-Notebook-Computer/dp/B07PDYBCQC/ref=sxin_16_pa_sp_search_thematic_sspa?content-id=amzn1.sym.8f2f40b3-26c0-4f88-be94-372390ff23da%3Aamzn1.sym.8f2f40b3-26c0-4f88-be94-372390ff23da&crid=2ZIZ4EELHHD7R&cv_ct_cx=2+prong+%5Bpower+cord&keywords=2+prong+%5Bpower+cord&pd_rd_i=B07PDYBCQC&pd_rd_r=3b0b9b38-ffa6-4e29-85f7-2aad2cfe4388&pd_rd_w=W7FlW&pd_rd_wg=5BtVg&pf_rd_p=8f2f40b3-26c0-4f88-be94-372390ff23da&pf_rd_r=8298PGJ5VCBTPE6ESX6M&qid=1678809267&sbo=RZvfv%2F%2FHxDF%2BO5021pAnSA%3D%3D&sprefix=2+prong+power+cord%2Caps%2C169&sr=1-2-364cf978-ce2a-480a-9bb0-bdb96faa0f61-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExTUtaUzlNME83TDhaJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMjY3NTA3MzVJOEoxTFlOSUpDUCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNjI4Nzc2MlVFSVg4SERHTVJMUiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX3NlYXJjaF90aGVtYXRpYyZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU= Drive meets all my expectations. ... show more

Massive Storage, Affordable, Reliable But No WD RED Drives.

Has Built In Hardware Encryption (Password Protection Future). Connectivity Is Via USB C, And The Box Had 2 USB Cables (USB C to A, and USB C to C Cable) Also Mine Came With 2 Power Cables (3 pin UK type and 2 pin round type). ... show more

There is a loud clicking/knocking sound when running.
Capacity: 36TB Style: 2 Bay
The device is fine. I don't mind the loud 'seeking' noise, as I don't have it running all the time. The problem I had was with DHL delivery! They delayed delivery 3 times. This would not have been a problem except I was not notified until after the promised delivery. The first time there was even a 'map app' that showed the item was less than 30 miles away. Just before 10pm, that map and all tracking stopped working. Two different agents, on chat, were less than sympathetic bordering on sarcastic. Conclusion = avoid DHL ... show more

Reliabilty
Capacity: 12tb Style: 1 Bay
I've had the best luck with WD drives. After trying a dozen cloud options for storing back-up data & photos, I gave up and dumped it onto this drive and stuck it in a safe deposit box at the bank. Much faster, cheaper, simpler, reliable, and accessible. Cloud storage of 10's of thousands of files sucks!! ... show more

It failed after a few weeks of use.
Capacity: 12tb Style: 1 Bay
I am very disappointed. I bought this hard drive to store my work, and after just 3 weeks of use, it suddenly stopped working. I have tried it on different laptops, even with another USB cable, and nothing. I do not recommend this hard drive at all.
