It was as described. Based on other reviews I didn’t want the 2 piece version due to losing too much pressure. It does lose some pressure at the end, but not horrible. It’s not long enough for my whole yard so I was hoping if I connected it to another normal hose it would be able to maintain pressure, which kind of worked but not completely, it was still quite a bit lower pressure at the far end. Still usable, just not as good as I’d hoped.

Am weighing a decision to return product. Could work sometimes, but very hot summers require an always on product. Tough decision at this moment.

The hose I received came with the incomplete assembly of the two ends. The gray parts that join the ends to create a seal had not been pressed into place, and that made the hose useless. I had the option of returning it or attempting to complete the assembly. I decided to attempt fixing it myself, and it was impossible to accomplish by hand. I resorted to using a vice to force the pieces together, alternating side to side to prevent over torquing and cracking the plastic parts. After some time both ends were successfully mated, and now I can see how the hose works. It earns a One Star for being an unusable product as shipped, but I'll update the review after I have used it. Hopefully my repair worked and it doesn't come apart with water pressure.
