I bought the water rower with a riser. It costs about $100 extra but its worthy: easy to get on and off the rower no knee bending! The water rower is super quiet compared to motor-operated rowers. It is easy to put together with a little help from a 12 years old son :) the riser however is a different game plan. We didn't have proper tools as required so we asked for extra muscle help :) I use the water rower everyday for 30 minutes , sweet a lot and no knee or joints pain! Just a little sore on the elbow but it might have been my posture wasn't right while rowing. The price is pretty stiff but for heath wise it is all worthy. ... show more

I have been using if about 5 days a week and its awesome. its not likely to become a cloths rack like so many other pieces of exercise equipment. I do wish the handle was wider.

A few days after we put it together a crack showed up at the base of the tank. They sent us a new one and I sent the old one back. We use it whenever we get the chance.

FYI The two boxes arrived separately many hours apart. Wish the option to have the leg extensions pre applied existed, however excellent product.
