I'm one of those lucky people who has constant dark circles, no matter how much sleep I get at night. I've tried all sorts of topical creams and remedies, but I've come to accept that I'm stuck with them! Therefore, I'm always happy to find a good concealer. for the past 3 years, my go-to concealer is Kat Von D's tattoo concealer. It goes on thinly, but it never cakes or dries, and 2 coats does pretty well and lasts all day. I recently learned about using tinted concealers under your regular makeup to neutralize the color of dark circles, however, and this is the best option that was at a low price (so if I hate it, it's not too much of a waste, and if I like the effect, I can invest in something better quality). I really don't need to find anything that's more expensive, however, because this stuff works great. It is very thin, but really that's what I prefer, so I can put on as much or as little as I want without caking. I put a coat of this underneath my Kat Von D concealer, and it works so well. I look more refreshed, and it has staying power. I wish I would have found this trick much sooner! I recommend this over the "stick" concealers, which tend to be greasy and rub right off. If you're looking for something to conceal the purple/blueish bags under your eyes, the Nyx Yellow Concealer wand does a great job. It's inexpensive and lasts for awhile. PROS: - It conceals the purple well without being cakey unlike some other brands. It's liquidy smooth without being chalky. - The applicator wand that comes with it is useful. I use the wand to dab it under my eyes and then blend with my fingertips. - It is talc free and certified cruelty free. - Once opened, it is good for 6 months. Other information: - It's made in Taiwan. - I put the concealer on first, then put my other makeup/foundation over it and make sure everything is blended well so it doesn't look like you're wearing a mask. -Although you wouldn't think so, the yellow concealer helps to neutralize the purple because they're opposites on the color wheel. Based on other reviews, I tried this yellow concealer for my dark under eye circles and was very impressed. I put a few dots under each eye, then put a few dots of the Light concealer, gently spread with my finger and loved the coverage. The yellow really helped combined with the Light color and covered my dark circles. It went on smooth, not cakey, blended well with good coverage. I bought several different yellow shadows and creams to hide red blemish marks and healing scars on my face. It is the perfect product. The wand makes it easy to apply and target perfect. It conceals better than anything I have tried and yet is light weight. I put on foundation (Max Factor Pan Stik - THE BEST FOUNDATION ON THE PLANET) then dab this over the red marks with this product, let dry and powder lightly. It makes them hardly visible. I haven't tried the other colors, but the yellow is perfect for a concealer and I would recommend it over any of the others I bought and tried. ... show more

Well to get straight to the point... If I could have given it a negative ** I would have. For starters, I had thought that because of a previous yellow concealer I had tried and LOVED, it would be & act the same!! Big Wrong!!! The one I had previously owned was used more as a brightener around my eyes and chin. Downside to that one, although it too was by NYX, it had come as part of a corrector palette. Used the small tin of the yellow right up with barely touching the others. Felt it was a waste.... I was wrong, this was an even bigger one. My expectations may have been too high but sadly it too has gone to the all mighty place where makeup goes to die!! It was thin, dull, and an ugly "grey poupon" similarity. If you too are thinking of purchasing in the hopes of a being used as a brightener, the elf concealer in ivory is where it's at!! ... show more

I really like this concealer. I bought it in yellow, and it works well for my Asian skin tone. I like to dab a little underneath my eyes and on any dark/red spots. This is great for mild dark circles and red spots. I wouldn't say that it covers dark spots fully. This concealer doesn't crease, and it provides medium coverage. Previously I was using Maybelline FitMe concealer in Sand, but I found it to cause creasing underneath my eyes. I like this NYX product better, and it's affordable too. I also bought the concealer in Nutmeg to see if I can contour with it. I found it a bit too dark for my skin tone (~sand beige). Maybe try the next lighter color. ... show more

This doesn't cover my dark circles, and it isn't good for covering other blemishes. I've tried so many products for dark circle coverage, and this one ranks lower than most. It makes them shinier and does help with slight discoloration, but not the more persistent purple coloring. I thought I could use it for spot coverage, but, again, the pigmentation is so slight that it doesn't cover well. I wouldn't buy this again. ... show more
