I've previously given a very positive review on the overall system but the reason I upgraded to the Waterdrop from what I had before was because of the reported ease in changing filters. As advertised, the Waterdrop's filter change is a breeze! Anyone who can read the instructions can do this! There are no tools, no complicated ritual to do and then do again in reverse order, etc.....JUST twist to the left, insert new filter, twist to the right, then reset the indicator light for filter status! Done in less than 60 seconds with no mess, no draining, no turning off valves and all the rest that I USED to have to do. Waterdrop is absolutely stress-free. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Love the product and taste of our water. Had a minor issue with one of the filters, so I emailed the company. They were prompt and awesome - put a new filter in the mail at no charge. That kind of customer service is difficult to find these days. I'd highly recommend this product!

Pretty expensive filters but overall worth it. If you have the system this works with I would say order off Amazon. Free shipping helps and you can find deals from time to time. These waterdrop systems work great and help save on wastewater.

Update May 2022 The new unit is definitely running better. Water flow is good. Update April 2022. The customer service dept read this below and reached out to me. They sent me a free replacement unit and spare filter. Hopefully it will solve the problem, as the new one seems to flow much better. I would still like better flow, but it is acceptable now. Well, I just wasted 30 bucks on a replacement filter. We replaced the top filter 3 months ago and the flow has been really slow, so bought another one, same thing. No lines kinked, inlet valve all the way open. Well. Maybe it was the RO (bottom filter) clogging 6 months early. I popped it out to verify the part number, then when I put it back in, the flow returned to normal. Seems these things get some sort of vapor lock when they get air in them? Anyway, It would have been nice if I knew that I should release pressure every so often on the RO cartridge. Tossed a perfectly good top filter in the trash today since once they are full of water, they cannot be stored... If you have one of these, and it runs slow, remove and replace the bottom filter...

This was easy to install and purge. Like everything, it just takes some time, but not much. I do wonder what the filtering specifications are, as I have a whole-house filter that filters at 5 microns. So if this filter works at 10 microns, why am I using it? I suspect the notification to replace the filter is just based on time, not on the difference in pressure between the input and the output, but nowhere can I find how it works. That is secret information. I do like the RO unit overall and the process, but am I throwing money away on a sediment filter. Please advise.
