    • Only filters half of the water
I don't know how these are rated so high. I got them yesterday. I primed them for 2 minutes. The filtration started great, then halfway through just stopped. I tried again this morning. I painted them for 2 more minutes each. Again the filtration at the beginning was great, but it's literally only filtering half of the water. It's been 3 hours and nothing else is dripping with 2.5 galling of unfiltered water sitting in the top of my Berkey. These cost to much not to work. ... show more

UPDATE: Although I had issues with the first set of filters, the customer service team reached out and sent a replacement along with a refund. After using the replacement filters, I am very impressed and haven’t had any issues. The customer service support alone made up for the previous problem with the first set of filters. I’ve only used these for a month and they have mold all over them. I’ve never had issues in the past with my Berkey system until I used these. I followed instructions and did everything on my end to keep my system clean and functioning smoothly. ... show more

    • PIECE OF CRAP! Works for maybe 20 gallons
If I could rate this ZERO stars I would. We primed them according to the instructions. After about 20 gallons filtered it now takes 24 hours to filter 1 or 1.5 gallons. Absolute piece of crap. They say these can filter 3,000 gallons each. That's a lie. Do not buy this! Just buy the real thing! I will be asking for a refund. ... show more

These went bad after 3 months. The company was kind enough to send us replacements at no cost. Will share an update when we have tried them out again.

Tastes disgusting. Primed it GOOD and the water tastes and smells like fish. I’m extremely disappointed with this experience. The seller initially offered a refund, only to later claim there were “system issues” and instructed me to disregard the messages entirely. That’s unacceptable and feels deliberately misleading. As for the product itself, these filters are absolutely disgusting. They leave a strong fishy taste in the water, which is both unpleasant and concerning. They should not be sold in this condition, and it’s clear the seller has no intention of addressing the issue or standing behind their product. I won’t be purchasing from this seller again, and I strongly advise others to be cautious. ... show more
