Using it alone, and after a month the light indicating that's its time to change lights up... when it promises 3 months or so many gallons, and I don't drink gallons a day, so I refresh the bottom and keep using

Bought this, water tasted like dirt. Called customer support, they asked if I shook it, filled it, dumped, repeated process, then on 3rd fill, drank it. Tried water after, no dirt taste!

Flow a little slow but doable. Lid can come off if you are careless. Taste of water excellent. Easy to handle Have always used Brita. Like this pitcher better.
