Great except for the filter. I got the same kind and those long filter don't work for crap. So I got the shorter ones and they work great. I recommend the smaller filters with this.

THE GOOD: Using the lead reduction water filters, the filtered water tastes great. THE BAD: As others have said, the spigot is poorly designed and will fail. Biggest issue - there's no way to replace the spigot, or better yet, the plunger or silicon seal within the spigot that's bound to fail. Only option is to replace the entire dispenser. First fail - While still on my first filter cartridge, but beyond the dispenser return date, the dispenser started leaking from the spigot. Before I noticed, water had seeped between my hardwood floor boards, permanently staining them. I disassembled the spigot as best I could, cleaned out the internal plunger seal as best I could, and sanded down the bottom of the spigot lever a bit to be sure the plunger spring closed things all the way. This helped but didn't fix the problem entirely so I keep a plastic tray under the dispenser to catch leaking water. Second fail - After a few more months the little plastic nubbins on the spigot handle that lift the seal plunger broke off, making the spigot handle useless. I did further surgery to install a piece of a nail as a metal axle on the spigot handle. This has worked so far but was a pain and wouldn't have been necessary if this thing was designed well. The only reason I bothered with the DIY repairs is because I'd bought a year's supply of lead reduction filters which were expensive and beyond the return date and, out of principle, I won't spend more $ for another shoddy dispenser. THE UGLY: These dispensers are expensive considering that they're designed to fail. People have been writing reviews about the spigot failures for years and PUR hasn't changed the design. If anyone at PUR is bothering to read these reviews - design 101: make parts that are prone to fail strong so they likely won't fail and easily replaceable if they do. ... show more

**Update March 2020 ** I purchased this in November 2019. Still working like a charm. At first I was disappointed with how slow the filtration took but the more I've used it I notice the filtration is faster. Now that I've been using the new shorter filters that PUR is selling, this baby fills much quicker. The spigot leaks a drop or two after I use it but is not a constant problem. I've found 6 packs of filters for an average of $30 and a pack lasts me for several months. I fill this thing up 1-2x per day. Bought this one for use at work. I'm not sure if my perspective makes it seem like this thing filters suuuuuper slooooooowww. I have traditional Pur pitcher that I use at home and I feel like the water flows through the filter a lot quicker than this. I've removed the filter twice and shaken it like the instructions recommend and it seems like it takes forever for this thing to filter all the water in the reservoir. Then again, it is a single filter that is processing a lot more water than the pitcher I have at home. What I love about this one is that it holds a lot more water and I don't constantly have to refill it to get clean water. That, I expect, will make it seem like the filter will need to be changed more regularly because of how much more water one filter will process as opposed to the one I have at home. I've just had this for one day. I will update my review in 1-2 weeks once I've had more use of it ... show more

This was so perfect for a longer stay at an Airbnb that I’m still actually using it. Water taste good, it stays in the fridge- I did worry a lot from reviews about it leaking overnight- but never once leaked! The filters aren’t too pricey and they last a minute! The only issue I have is getting others to refill it and load it on the top shelf of the fridge- solve that and we have a winner. Yes there is a water filter on the fridge too- but… the water here is just … well, I can see this and it taste great!! ... show more

It works well, but the spigot handle is the fatal flaw. This is the second one of these I've owned and the second time the spigot handle has broken. I thought this one might be okay, since the design seemed sturdier than the last one, but the handle actually broke even more quickly. And they don't sell replacements, even though the spigot is removable. Very disappointing. ... show more

We had brita pitcher and we switched to have more voume. This tastes better but takes longer to filter. I like this much better than the pitcher though. It's convenient and it has a light to switch filter so that's also nice.
