I ordered a stand up desk a while ago and was looking to level up and start getting in some cardio since I was stuck at my desk anyway. I have seen these desk tread mills and was intrigued by how you could combine walking with working. I figured I would give it a shot since the only thing I had to lose was weight, right? The first five minutes were a bit odd, but I actually got used to walking and typing. The noise is pretty low for getting my steps per minute combined with my words per minute. I do notice I make more typing errors, but given that I am also working out, it is an acceptable sacrifice. Overall, this is a great option for working out since I have to be at my desk anyway. It is like I can't escape working out. I have a full size treadmill in the garage, but this one gets more use as I work from home part time. I also love the remote for this thing. If something comes up, like a phone call or something important, you can pause your walking with the pause button. Be warned, it does not stop immediately, but instead winds down. If you need an instant stop, you have to step off of it. I also like the incline feature. I keep it elevated all the time as I like the calorie burn boost of walking uphill. As this isn't a full size treadmill with a big motor, but the motor is powerful enough to go faster than walking speed. Running is not advised as it doesn't have any handles to grab on to. Overall, if you need to get some exercise in during the workday, this treadmill is a great option.

What a great find. It couldn't have been easier to set up: get unit out of box, plug it in, start it up. I have a stand-up desk-top converter, so I only have to move my chair aside, roll the treadmill into place, raise the desk, and go. I've recently been challenged to get my walks in, because of the heat and humidity, but now I can keep up with my step goals regardless of the weather conditions. I like that the remote control has a wrist strap, so I can walk with my thumb ready to increase/decrease my speed. The display on the treadmill is large and bright, really easy to see while using it. My husband says he can hear the motor through the hardwood floor, but part of that is because our house is old and creaky - and I'm putting a rug under my desk pad tomorrow, to see if I can't absorb some of that noise. I am VERY clumsy, so I do find that I can't do much at my desk while walking, other than listening to books/music, or I get wobbly and risk riding off the back. The tread section is about 36" long - my stride is about 30", so there's not a lot of room for error. The surface is relatively comfortable, as long as I wear my well-cushioned walking shoes. It's a bit hard on my feet without that cushioning, but that's more a function of being older and having bone spur and arthritis issues. Regardless of that part, this is a game-changer for me. It's so easy to move it out of the way - you just lift up the back and wheel it around. I find myself upping my step game because of this thing, so it's more than doing its job. A+

This is an easy way to get some steps in while you are working at your standup desk. There are wells on the front that make moving it around easy and it fits under a dresser. It gradually speeds up and slows down as well. Only "con": it doesn't have a handle so you should use it with a desk or other solid object to hold onto close by. This is common with all of this kind of treadmill though.

I was a bit skeptical of this thing when it arrived. The box was very slim and hefty but not treadmill heavy. Then I opened the box and it was already entirely assembled and ready to use out of the box. Plugged it in and it was easy to use. I think what makes this better than other pads is its wristlet attached remote. You can start the walking belt, raise the speed, it even has a default 2 and 4 button for a quick walk and an easy job speed. You can also use the play button to scroll through other options. The sound is a bit quieter than a traditional treadmill but not by much so don’t expect a silent experience (I.e., don’t take a zoom meeting and expect people to not hear you using it). It does take some getting used to, had a few near misses so I would start with this at a slow speed and with a handy couch or desk within reaching distance before trying high speeds, different inclines (which are easy to set up) etc. Would recommend!

I love that there is no set up with this treadmill. I just opened the box and plugged it in. It's also fairly light so I was able to carry it on my own upstairs without any problem. It does take some getting used to since there are no rails. I'd recommend starting out slowly- I almost walked right off the front. The little remote that it comes with is convenient for speeding up and slowing down. It has a wrist strap so you cant lose it. As far as the noise level... it's a little quieter than my larger treadmill, but not by much. I did expect it to be quieter but it's not horrible. For the amount of space it takes up I'm very happy with it!
