  • Walking pad
Color: Light Black
UPDATE 12/28/25: After an elective surgery a few months ago, I took some time off for recovery (and possibly some laziness). When I got back at it at the beginning of December, the one big con I finally noticed about this model is that if you don’t have the remote you can’t turn it on (for clarity, you can physically turn the machine on but you can’t make the belt move). I had a bit of a panic moment when I thought the remote was lost, but turns out it was buried underneath a pile of papers. The remote does magnetically stick to the machine, this functionality works well but I have small children who hide everything so I have to leave it on a higher shelf. A couple other things to note- the speed on this machine is nowhere near the same as the speed on the treadmill at my gym. Walking at 3mph on a treadmill is significantly faster than 3mph on this walking pad. I had it up past 4mph for the first time today and you still get a very brisk walk but the speed is not comparable. That brings me to my next point. As today was the first time I was walking over 4mph (I’m usually at my desk but today I brought it into the living room), my belt occasionally hangs ever so slightly at the higher speed. About every 20-30 steps the belt would hang for a half second then resume as normal. It’s weird when it happens. I walked at the higher speed for 1.5 hours today (pushing to meet my December Garmin goals!), then dropped it back down to 3.5mph and it ceased doing it, so I guess it’s why I didn’t notice previously (I’m usually at speeds between 3-3.7mph while I’m working). Overall none of this will detract from my original 5 star rating, just don’t lose the remote!!! ORIGINAL REVIEW This walking pad is a great addition to my home office set up. I work from home 2 days per week and can't always make it outside for a walk. I was hesitant to purchase a walking pad, because I didn't think it would be possible to type and walk at the same time, but it turns out to be surprisingly easy. The ability to type emails or take meeting notes is not inhibited by a steady walking bob. I am an accountant (always in Excel), and selecting or highlighting certain cells is sometimes difficult if the screen is too small, but that is easy to work around. I generally spend at least 2 hours walking in the morning. If I am in meetings, walking at about 3mph is good to still be able to talk and type. If I am not in meetings and performing normal tasks, I'll walk at around 3.5mph or slightly more. The walking pad has stands on the bottom you can push down to give it a small incline. I do not use the incline currently, so I am unable to comment on that feature. I did however purchase the walking pad with the handle, and this I feel is a bit of a waste (but the price differential between the 2 models was negligent at the time of my purchase). Each side of the handle needs to be hand-spun with an allen wrench each time you want to put it up or down, this is very inconvenient to have to be on the floor trying to line up an allen wrench in a slot you cannot see into. The handle is also not nearly as tall as it looks in the cover photo, making the little platform that holds your phone useless. As I only use this walking pad under my stand-up desk, not having the handle or phone holder is a non-issue and does not detract from my rating. The walking pad weighs about 40lbs. It is still easy enough to move around from room to room (and has wheels on the front), or if I'm moving it out of the way to lower my desk back to sitting height (we actually use the handle to push or pull it into place since the room is carpeted, so I guess the handle isn't completely useless). It is a much slimmer profile that a full-sized treadmill (and costs significantly less) and can stand up or slide under furniture if trying to get it out of the way. With this model, you also do not run the risk of it becoming a clothing rack. I have been using this walking pad twice per week since June 1, and then 5 days per week during the month of August (with each day having at least 2 hours of use). I've experienced no issues thus far, it continues to work as it did the day we took it out of the box. The journey to a healthier you starts with going for a walk! Invest in yourself, it is worth it! ... show more

  • Great Walking Treadmill for Recovery and Daily Use
Color: Light Black
I purchased the Abonow Walking Pad after a back injury three months ago, as walking is a big part of my recovery. With it being 11 degrees outside, this treadmill has been a lifesaver. I’ve used it almost every day since buying it, and it’s honestly helped keep me sane during recovery. It’s perfect for walking — smooth, quiet, and easy to use. I even walk on it while watching sports, which has surprisingly made me a calmer fan by helping burn off nervous energy during games. That said, as someone with wide feet, I’d be hesitant to use it for running. For walking, though, it’s excellent. It doesn’t take up much space, is easy to store, and feels like phenomenal bang for the buck for the price. Overall, I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable, compact walking treadmill for home or office use. ... show more

  • Basic walk pad, not super quiet.
Color: Black Orange
Basic walk pad and functions as needed. Very easy to set up. Not as quiet as I hoped so if you’re talking people may hear the motor and steps. The speeds all work as expected and it’s easy to move around my office when I want to use it.

  • Perfect for my needs
Color: Black Orange
Great walking pad and comes ready to use out of the box. The length is long enough for me to walk comfortably even as a tall person with long legs. The front legs can be used to tilt the pad up or it can lay flat, and it has a nice range of speeds. The motor isn’t very loud, although the belt makes some noise but that might be because I use it on a carpeted area. Overall it’s good quality for the price and works great for me needs. ... show more

  • Good compact unit for use in any part of home
Color: Light Black
I am going to give it 5-stars for now as it is easy to set up and works well in confined spaces. We have a larger one in our workout/craft room and wanted one for the lower TV area. The one thing I was surprised about was the bracket that goes up to act as a place to put your phone/tablet. It appears that the height would be greater as it only comes up below my waist. I am 5'10 and it appears they are using very short models not that I look at the photos of it in Amazon. That bracket does not slide inside itself for adjusting the height, it is a fixed height. The handle however also works well in allowing the user to move the machine around and get it situated. Overall I am pleased with it and did not buy it with the bar as a must have. It is quiet and durable as I weigh over 200 lbs at this time I do not sense the unit is being put under any stress and moves along just fine. ... show more

  • Great walkpad - even better without the beeping!
Color: Black Orange
This walking pad works great for my whole family and I love it and are using it to stay active over the winter. I do think we’ll need to clean it and around it every week, it gets very dusty I think from the static electricity created. One drawback we found is the loud beep - it beeps three times before starting and any time you push a button on the remote. I ended up taking the plastic back panel off - the screws were very nearly stripped in the process - and found the offending piezo buzzer. I tried using hot glue to cover it, but it didn’t dampen the sound enough. So, with it unplugged, I carefully popped the piezo part off of the PCB. So much better without the beeping. See attached for the exact part to remove. Do at your own risk, I’m not liable if you break your machine doing this. ... show more
