  • Great Walking Treadmill for Recovery and Daily Use
Color: Light Black
I purchased the Abonow Walking Pad after a back injury three months ago, as walking is a big part of my recovery. With it being 11 degrees outside, this treadmill has been a lifesaver. I’ve used it almost every day since buying it, and it’s honestly helped keep me sane during recovery. It’s perfect for walking — smooth, quiet, and easy to use. I even walk on it while watching sports, which has surprisingly made me a calmer fan by helping burn off nervous energy during games. That said, as someone with wide feet, I’d be hesitant to use it for running. For walking, though, it’s excellent. It doesn’t take up much space, is easy to store, and feels like phenomenal bang for the buck for the price. Overall, I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable, compact walking treadmill for home or office use. ... show more

  • Wish it was a little bigger!
Color: Sliver
Really nice machine! It’s quite small for me - I’m 5’ 11” and my stride is almost too long for the track. I have to be very cautious when walking fast. I also with the bar was about 5 inches taller. Sadly I can’t hold on to it for stability. It is very convenient for holding the remote and my phone though. ... show more

  • Walking pad
Color: Light Black
UPDATE 12/28/25: After an elective surgery a few months ago, I took some time off for recovery (and possibly some laziness). When I got back at it at the beginning of December, the one big con I finally noticed about this model is that if you don’t have the remote you can’t turn it on (for clarity, you can physically turn the machine on but you can’t make the belt move). I had a bit of a panic moment when I thought the remote was lost, but turns out it was buried underneath a pile of papers. The remote does magnetically stick to the machine, this functionality works well but I have small children who hide everything so I have to leave it on a higher shelf. A couple other things to note- the speed on this machine is nowhere near the same as the speed on the treadmill at my gym. Walking at 3mph on a treadmill is significantly faster than 3mph on this walking pad. I had it up past 4mph for the first time today and you still get a very brisk walk but the speed is not comparable. That brings me to my next point. As today was the first time I was walking over 4mph (I’m usually at my desk but today I brought it into the living room), my belt occasionally hangs ever so slightly at the higher speed. About every 20-30 steps the belt would hang for a half second then resume as normal. It’s weird when it happens. I walked at the higher speed for 1.5 hours today (pushing to meet my December Garmin goals!), then dropped it back down to 3.5mph and it ceased doing it, so I guess it’s why I didn’t notice previously (I’m usually at speeds between 3-3.7mph while I’m working). Overall none of this will detract from my original 5 star rating, just don’t lose the remote!!! ORIGINAL REVIEW This walking pad is a great addition to my home office set up. I work from home 2 days per week and can't always make it outside for a walk. I was hesitant to purchase a walking pad, because I didn't think it would be possible to type and walk at the same time, but it turns out to be surprisingly easy. The ability to type emails or take meeting notes is not inhibited by a steady walking bob. I am an accountant (always in Excel), and selecting or highlighting certain cells is sometimes difficult if the screen is too small, but that is easy to work around. I generally spend at least 2 hours walking in the morning. If I am in meetings, walking at about 3mph is good to still be able to talk and type. If I am not in meetings and performing normal tasks, I'll walk at around 3.5mph or slightly more. The walking pad has stands on the bottom you can push down to give it a small incline. I do not use the incline currently, so I am unable to comment on that feature. I did however purchase the walking pad with the handle, and this I feel is a bit of a waste (but the price differential between the 2 models was negligent at the time of my purchase). Each side of the handle needs to be hand-spun with an allen wrench each time you want to put it up or down, this is very inconvenient to have to be on the floor trying to line up an allen wrench in a slot you cannot see into. The handle is also not nearly as tall as it looks in the cover photo, making the little platform that holds your phone useless. As I only use this walking pad under my stand-up desk, not having the handle or phone holder is a non-issue and does not detract from my rating. The walking pad weighs about 40lbs. It is still easy enough to move around from room to room (and has wheels on the front), or if I'm moving it out of the way to lower my desk back to sitting height (we actually use the handle to push or pull it into place since the room is carpeted, so I guess the handle isn't completely useless). It is a much slimmer profile that a full-sized treadmill (and costs significantly less) and can stand up or slide under furniture if trying to get it out of the way. With this model, you also do not run the risk of it becoming a clothing rack. I have been using this walking pad twice per week since June 1, and then 5 days per week during the month of August (with each day having at least 2 hours of use). I've experienced no issues thus far, it continues to work as it did the day we took it out of the box. The journey to a healthier you starts with going for a walk! Invest in yourself, it is worth it! ... show more

  • Great buy!
Color: Light Black
I’ve had this for about 6 months now with no issues. Lightweight, easy to move and store. Just plug in, turn on and choose your speed with the remote. Not complicated at all. Remember this is a walking pad, not meant for running or jogging. It’s pretty quiet and small. I wanted something that wasn’t going to cost a lot of money and if I didn’t end up using, I wouldn’t feel guilty about. ... show more

  • Too narrow and too short.
Color: Light Black
I loved the idea of having a walking pad in the home to keep me moving throughout my pregnancy. If it was too hot outside or too cold, I could still walk indoors. However, I found this walking pad to be too narrow and too short. This could because of my height. I’m 5’9” for reference. Also, the bar is too low. I always felt like I was going to fall off if I wasn’t holding on and to hold on, I had to lean forward. This could be a great pad for someone shorter but for my taller girlies, not so much. ... show more

  • Good Walking Pad for Home
Color: Light Black
We're loving this product in my home so far. My daughter has more fragile bones and needs to walk more to strengthen them and this makes weather (too hot or too rainy) no longer an excuse. She also loves it because she can catch up on her favorite shows while walking. It fits in my tiny living room and doesn't take up too much space. It's sturdy and decent quality for the low cost. The two incline options are enough for our needs. ... show more

  • Buy a different brand of walking pad
Color: Light Black
I would recommend that you buy a different walking pad. This pad is advertised as having a bar to hold your electronics which the bar is extremely low and you would have to be on the shorter side to be able to use it. Also, in order to stabilize and secure the bar upright you have to screw it in, but once you screw it in, you can no longer fold it to be able to move the walking pad to put it away so every time you want to move the pad you must unscrew the bar to fold it down. Lastly, is a safety aspect - I do not believe it should be highly rated in this category. When you walk, I feel like the tread is getting stuck and it kind of sticks your walking motion. The surface area is also very small and so if you hit the side of the treadmill then you will be pushed off the treadmill. This walking pad is advertised with the girl running which from walking on four speed and having issues I do not believe running would be accessible on this. I believe that you should find a different brand and I will be too. I just need to return the appliance. ... show more
