Very easy to assemble and disassemble. The only drawback is that it is very light and will fall over when windy. I placed a small bag of charcoal on the bottom to help prevent it from falling over. I like that it has a lid to keep critters out.

This is great when you just need to hold open trash bags, very easy assembly. Very handy when you're by yourself, ok price. Not super sturdy, I would suggest a weightier bottom. And you have to really wiggle a totally full bag out of it....

    • Not really sturdy
I use this for my recyclables. It is not very sturdy and I wouldn't want to put anything heavy in it, like regular trash. It is also hard to get the bag out if it's full. But it serves the purpose for my recyclables without spending a lot of money.

    • Good, clean way to handle trash at a campsite.
I bought this to put directly next to the camp table for trash. I really like it. The lid keeps out yellow jackets and flies. The hard plastic surface is easy to wipe down before packing up again. If critters chomp on the bag to get at food, they aren't chewing through a collapsible trash can and ruining it. There's also no dirty collapsible trash can to pack back into your car (gross). The legs pack into the lid and it is small to pack. On uneven dirt or in high wind, it does tip. Use guy lines and tent stakes to prevent tipping, or bungee it to the table.. A little painter's masking tape is enough to make it sturdy enough to hold up to a bungee and comes off clean. I use compostable trash bags and they are more slippery than regular trash bags so I added some hot glue on the lip for traction. It all holds together fine when assembled, but the tubes pop apart while you put it together. I had some clear hair bands for braids I wrapped on the tubes so that they stick together while assembling. For the next trip I might buy a couple more, laminate some signs (cans, plastic, glass) and use clear bags for separating out recyclables. ... show more

These are not good. Cheaply made. Not strong enough to hold bag in. Then of corse the as to put item in it it expands and you cant get the bags out. Worst buy ever!

    • Holds several different size bags.
I really like this light weight trash bag holder. I’ve used 5, 8, 13, and 30 gallon bags in it. It doesn’t hold a ton of weight, but it serves my purposes perfectly. The 30 gallon bags will handle a heavier weight because it rests on the ground. The other sizes hang. I turned a bucket, that fit inside the bottom rim, upside down and it helped a lot, although I’ve only needed it a couple times. Usually I don’t put that much weight in the smaller bags anyway. I have arthritis that limits my mobility. Being able to easily move this around and having the bag held open has been a godsend. I will be buying another one. It was very easy to assemble. It’s design allows the bag to be removed quite easily. The lid stays open during use and closes easily and fairly tightly. This trash bag holder is made out of light weight plastic, so I didn’t expire to work so well. I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend this highly, but don’t expect it to replace your garbage can. It’s perfect for recyclables and I’ve been using mine for both. It wipes clean with ease. ... show more

    • Great in theory but not execution
They go together really easily. These are incredibly light weight which means if you set them down without trash, like while setting up for a party, they will just blow/fall over. (The bottom piece has holes so we'll probably use garden stakes to hold in place next time). As trash goes in, they get steadier. The theory of these is great but because they are cheaply made, the execution isn't - ie. The piece meant to hold the bag in place doesn't fit tightly enough to serve it's purpose well so once the bag is half full it doesn't always stay in place. These are barely big enough to hold a regular size trash bag so don't buy contractor bags for them like we did. We got what we paid for and I'll use them again... just with lower expectations. ... show more
