I’m really happy with the AFEXOA Sunrise Alarm Clock! The gradual light simulation is a great feature, but for me, the light alone doesn’t wake me up. I still rely on the customizable soft sounds like birds chirping or a beeping alarm, which works perfectly. The volume goes loud enough for heavy sleepers, and the snooze button with 9 extra minutes is a nice bonus. The RGB lighting with 10 brightness levels is great for setting a relaxing mood or using as a nightlight. Even though only half of the alarm is light, it doesn't compromise the brightness at all—it still fills the room nicely. I also love the sleep timer and adjustable display brightness, which make it perfect for both bedtime and mornings. I think the design and look are much more stylish than other brands that are just lights. It’s easy to use and has really improved my mornings.

For a light sleeper and/or early riser, this is a fabulous alarm clock. I set it to change colors over a 30 minute span, no sound at all. The colors begin in a dark shade and evolve to a brilliant sunshine which lights the entire room - couldn't be more pleased. AND because I choose the silent mode, it resets itself and is ready for the next morning. Luv it!

I hear well and hate the sound of an alarm clock, so the flashing light is perfect for waking up to. I love that I can turn off the time display at night. I wish it had a longer cord, though.

It looks exactly as in the picture, and it seems to be made with good quality, even though it is plastic and light. While the instructions looked detailed at first, it was easy to follow along. Each button function works well. The light does gradually turn from a warm red to a brighter yellow light, and for me, it's perfect for a simulated sunrise to lead up to whenever I need to wake up. I see that others' reviews share that the alarm sound is too loud, but you can adjust the sound, as it's quite pleasant on a quieter level. My mornings are a lot easier waking up with this, especially on dark winter days, as I dread waking up in the dark. I wouldn't turn on the night light too long as it gets pretty warm, and I'm not sure how good that is for the product. I don't know if gifting it to someone is making too much of a point, but it was a pretty good gift to myself.

I get up at 4am and having this gradually lightening the room makes waking up so much easier. There are plenty of settings to customize how you want by the color, sound, length of time to rise and brightness. And the best part is that it was a great price and great quality for the money! Highly recommend if you have any trouble waking up in the morning!!

I was excited to get this clock, when I had searched high and low for a replacement bulb that recently blew (one I've had for over 20 years) but could not find one. I decided it was a good enough reason to buy a new one. However, I needed it soon. I was taking a chance on Amazon, and should have read more of the worst reviews. I have had this for about a week, and from the first day it has had a mind of its own. This clock has been useless. It has repeatedly changed its time. The first picture is the last morning (today) before I pack it up and return it. The second is the first day I woke up to it... The third, just another random day it changed time to the wee-morning hours in the middle of the day. It is barely 9 am, and it's suddenly reading 3 am? The clock was correct when I went to sleep. Just like the first day I woke up (to it not working) and freaked out because it said 3!). Very disorienting and experience has been frustrating. The alarm has only gone off once all week when. When it is set, it typically stays set (as one reviewer added, which was a great feature to look forward to every day not having to reset it) however, this morning it has unset itself. Probably explains why it rarely went off to wake me. It has not woken me up but one time. I do not recommend this clock. (A few other little things I noticed: a couple of the buttons look like they could fall off at any time, instructions indicate that there's more dimmer settings than there actually are).
