  • 18" vacation'r screen room
Size: 18 Feet to 19 Feet
Like the ease of installing and take down. However, after three months, 2 zippers lost teeth and a horizontal rip in fabric. These seem to be heavy zippers, yet lost many teeth and unable to zip. Have contacted supplier and yet to hear from them. Very difficult to talk to a person, so sent email contact. Included pictures of problem issues. I will hold back on review until I receive a response from supplier. I could have just gotten a bad room and a replacement may be the answer. This is the person who wrote the review. I have received a very positive and timely response. They are sending us a new room. They apologized for the inconvenience. A great company that stands behind their product. It is a well built room. Also, for those who purchase a vacation'r for the first time, look at utube as the video is very helpful when putting up for the first time. It's easy once you see how it works, but confusing when reading the instructions. After the video, it all made sense. I give them a 5+ rating. John ... show more

  • Great Product, but requires some work to make it, it do what it's suppose to.
Size: 16 Feet to 17 Feet
I really like the product, But putting it up by yourself is a real bear. I have read the other reviews and people saying they put it up in 10 or 15 min. I find those greatly exaggerated, I put it up the first time and it took me 2 hours to make all the adjustments so it fit and sealed like it was suppose to, this included mounting and cutting the skirt to fit properly. I then took it down and reinstalled it 4 different times. The best I could do was 45 min. putting it up. Taking it down took only 10 min with another 10 for folding it properly to get it back into the bag. Just returned from my first camping trip with the room. I camp in the desert SW California. I have already installed small stainless steel bolts w/ washers on each side (for strength) on the skirt mounting tabs. They work fine until it get hot, then they fall off. Didn't have any real winds this trip 10 to 15 mph max. Room held up fine, Found in the soft soil and sand over there you need longer anchors, they need at least 16in to hold in the sand even in a light wind like we had. I made mine from #5 rebar galvanized coated. Am looking at installing the same system I had with my homemade canvas room on my last RV. There are stainless steel twist-locks sets that can be bought and installed on both the RV and the material of the room. Unfortunately, the ones mounted on the rv do require screws being used. To get those side sealing pads to work, I installed eye bolts to the frame of the trailer to get enough tension to seal the room to the sides of the trailer. Tried the suggestion to drive anchors in the ground, but all they did was pull loose when I put enough tension on the straps to seal the sides. Found the eye blots worked great. Don't really believe they will hold up in a heavy wind though. I do recommend this product though, yes there's some work that needs to be done to make it work, but it is worth the effort. ... show more

  • Great but some issues.
Size: 20 Feet to 21 Feet
I do love this 21 foot screen room. It was very easy to install and creates so much more space! Very happy over all but I have 2 issues with the door. 1. There is no window on the door like advertised which to me throws off the whole look of it and 2. The door will not zip all the way down. The zipper portion is broken. For how much this screen room costs I was hoping for better craftsmanship and a 100% usable door. But like I said over all I'm happy. Would of given 5 starts if it wasnt for the door issues. ... show more

  • Perfect Addition
Size: 14 Feet to 15 Feet
Panels are too long so you have to tuck them under

  • Poorly designed and terrible instructions
Size: 16 Feet to 17 Feet
I'm returning this screen room because it is a terrible product. I worked for a tent company and I can tell you this thing is all wrong. First off, it's not 16' - it's 12' and then they give you a small add on strip bringing it to 13'. I assume there's 1 or 2 more add on strips bringing it to 16', but since they don't label anything, I don't know. With all these add on panels, that is way too many zippers for durability or weather protection. Plus they're cheap plastic zippers. Where the panels zip together the trim is not cut to size so it can't zip - there is a 2" gap because the zipper trim is not cut flush. Rather than make various sizes as they claim, they give you a poor solution of these add on panels, and they don't even work. Really? A $1,000 piece of cloth and you can't bother to make different sizes or make it fit snug? Then the bottom isn't sized either - they expect you to fold it to size. Again no weather protection if you have tons of extra fabric at the floor. Plus that invites mold and mildew. I guess it's too much to ask to make it the correct size. I bought it for a specific awning size, but they don't actually make it to fit. Then there are the clips which don't fit to the rail. Booo. Then there are the pieces with 3m tape you're supposed to tape to your rv. No I'm not taping your junk to my $100k rv. The instructions make no sense whatsoever. I've never read such bad instructions and worse diagrams. They don't label the pieces so it's up to you to figure out what is what. It's just a bunch of pieces of cloth but no labels on them at all, diagrmas that don't show anything and wording that makes no sense. The vinyl at the bottom seems heavy enough and the polyester cloth is mid grade tent cloth. Nothing special but should hold up. Unfortunately the execution is awful. They even contradict each other - their instructions say one thing and their official video says the exact opposite. At first I blamed myself, but I'm quite handy and I sure know how to pitch a tent. After fighting to install this thing and then finding out it's not even sized as promised, it's being returned. ... show more

  • a great product...... but
Size: 12 Feet
sets up easy, good material, lightweight to transport...... pleasing to look at. we were in the yukon during bug season and it kept the bugs out... a very big deal up there. that all being said when we assembled it we were a bit taken aback with there approach to a door. .. I can't figure out what they were thinking when they designed this part. thank god they included an extra peice of material, our plan is to make our own, wouldn't be hard to make a better design. the nuts and bolts of there idea a zippered peice that went from ceiling to floor and beyond, it was a pain to use as a pass thru, and couldn't hold up well to traffic............they would have gotten 5 stars except for this poor design..... ... show more
