    • crank mechanism is made of plastic!!!!
We bought one of these awnings 2 years ago and another one in August 2022. The first one we cannot use anymore because the crank mechanism, which allows you to roll out and retract a long and fairly heavy roll of awning, is broken. Some genius decided to make this mechanism, which consists of 2 interlocking teethed wheels, out of plastic. Upon opening that part we could see that several teeth had broken out and so the whole thing cannot be used anymore. We were willing to replace the broken part, but there are no parts to be found. I wrote to the company and have not heard back. Now when we roll out the awning we bought just last August the crank is making suspicious noises and will probably break next. All of this aggravation just so the manufacturer could save a buck by using plastic instead of metal. ... show more

    • very poor quality
The parts does not match so it is very difficult to assembly the horizontal aluminum rod. In particular one or more of middle connectors do not match. Also there are missing parts (screws) plus some of the plastic parts came smashed and broken. Very poor quality and thus very overpriced.
