I have been enjoying my loc journey for five years. I noticed that my locs were extra dry and was shedding. I learned that herbal rinsing my locs could be beneficial in conditioning my locs and healing my scalp. I purchased this item to steep the herbal tea for my locs. This product allowed me to heat/boil water quickly to steep the leaves for my herbal rinse. It was easy to use. Easy to clean and worked like a charm. Most of Al the glass kettle was attractive to look at and holds a large amount of water. I am glad I stumbled on this glass kettle. It has been a game changer for me. Thanks.

This is a somewhat overrated kettle in my opinion. The main drawback is that the metal spout filter unnecessarily produces a choppy, splashy and slow pour. The second drawback is that the volume measurements are only on one side of the kettle, and only in liters. Also note that the metal-looking part in the photos here on Amazon that connect the handle to the glass carafe is indeed (black) plastic. I think this kettle was worth the $35 I spent, but maybe not the $50 they're asking usually. The good: very pretty, the LED lights up the water so to speak, the lid opens with a button press and does so slowly, avoiding hot water splashing, the handle feels great, the kettle is fast and not very loud, the metal base of the kettle proper is pretty good at keeping cool, and the power base is also partly metal.

Ok, it’s a kettle… so there’s really not much to it. It boils the water quickly. Includes a tea attachment (if that’s what it’s called). But then 2 reasons for my raving review are: 1- It’s easy to clean!!! OMG that was something that I hate from my other kettles… there was no way to really get in there and scrub/clean thoroughly. This is you can remove the top and get in there and give it a good clean. Maybe I’m just a clean freak. 2- Being all glass you can easily see the water level. My other kettles are made of metal with a small viewing window to check the water level. No bueno. I’ve had it for a few months already and no complains… still boils the water quickly.

So disappointed. I got this out yesterday to make some tea to ice. I’d been so happy with it but had put away for a couple months. Yesterday I was shocked when I went onto my kitchen snd the pot was boiling fast and water was exploding out of the top. What a mess cleaning between my cabinet and stove and floors. I quickly took of the heating element and realized the auto shut off did not click off. Thinking it was operating error, I must not have had top on correctly? I just tried again … I stood by and watched the same thing happen. Oh goodness! What a mess and so disappointing if the manufacture or anyone can give me any advice I’d sure appreciate it. I am Hoping it is still under warranty but looks like since the 30 days are up I can’t return or exchange through Amazon. Manufacturer or Amazon can you help or help me get it exchanged ?
