If humor could be a saw!

Wow, where do I start. This saw (58CC, 20" bar) looks and feels like it belongs in the toy aisle at wall mart. If it was possible to make a component on it plastic instead of metal, they did. I do not expect to be able to pass this to my children, I just can't see this saw surviving regular saw abuse more than a few years. How this saw runs and cuts, however, is polar opposite to how it feels and looks. I chunked up a seasoned 30" red oak like it was butter. It starts cold in 3 pulls (2 with the choke on, a 3rd with it off) and starts warm in a single pull. My only two real gripes, are that the handle feels like its going to bend if I put any leverage on it, and it uses 40:1 fuel, where all my others use 50:1. All of this is to say, were this a $300-600 it would be an easy 1-star. Spend that money on a quality saw. But for less than $100, I'm truly blown away, it even make me chuckle how cheap it feels compared to how well it runs and cuts - 5 stars all day. I considered buying a second one for a parts saw.

Got this chain saw awesome price but when I tryed to use it for the first time I did every thing the instructions said I got the premix 2 cycle gas in it chocked it pulled 7 time then proceeded to pull the 10 times never onece fired up and snapped the pull cord so took it apart put another pull cord on it all brand new cord did it agian and snapped same time 7on choke and 10 with out snapped so I’m going to say don’t buy trash additional I did take the cover off and used a drill with the socket adapter on it and spun it over for 5 mins and didn’t start up so I tryed checking spark had spark tryed starting fluid still not starting so I gave up and threw it away my loss of 104 save your self the trouble

Two small improvements make this a well cutting/running saw

Fair warning, the chain that comes with the saw is hot garbage. My recommendation is to not even bother using it. Throw it straight in the trash and order a better chain when you order the saw. Replacement chain is: .325 Pitch / .058" Gauge 76 Tooth Also, the replacement NGK Spark Plug is a NGK 6703 (BPMR7A). Do those two simple things and this saw runs like a champ. Pulls strong and cuts well. Easy starting as well. Couple pulls is usually all it takes from cold.

Needs Lock Nuts for the Clutch/Chain Cover

This is a great saw for the money. I bought the 58cc/20" variety. It has great power but it is a bit thirsty because of it. It started on the 3rd pull right out of the box and runs great. The handle assembly feels cheap and I often hit the kill switch with my thumb as it is very close to the handle. My only real issue is keeping the chain tight and the cover on. My first use I lost one of the nuts for the chain tensioner/cover and the other came loose. It ruined the chain so I replaced that and tried again. If I make the nuts too tight the chain binds up. So I used a lock nut I had in stock and the remaining original one. My next use saw the remaining original nut loose and gone and my lock nut holding the cover on. Otherwise the saw is a beast. It easily cuts thick logs. It always starts easily and runs great. I would recommend it. It is tought to beat for the price.

Affordable and Reliable

The saw worked perfectly. High quality. I have other vevor tools and going forward, I will buy only vevor tools because they are as good as the big name companies in some cases even better but are way more affordable. I recommend vecor tools any day of the week.

BEWARE THIS SAW AND VEVOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

**★☆☆☆☆ Never operated properly, and warranty service was far more difficult than it should have been.** I purchased this chainsaw in March 2026. It has been used only four or five times for very light work, and the fuel tank has only been filled twice. From the very first use, the saw was extremely difficult to start. Once started, it would not idle and had to be kept revved to stay running. It also would not restart when warm without partially engaging the choke. These problems existed from the day I purchased it and never improved. I contacted customer service expecting a straightforward warranty claim. Instead, I was initially asked to perform mechanical troubleshooting on a nearly new chainsaw, including removing parts and following procedures that should be performed by a qualified service technician. After I explained that the saw had never functioned correctly and provided a video demonstrating the problem, I was offered a $29 partial refund to find my own repair technician. Anyone familiar with small engine repair knows that $29 doesn't even cover the cost of diagnosing the problem, much less repairing it. Only after several rounds of emails did VEVOR finally offer either a replacement or a full refund, but even then I had to clarify that they would provide a prepaid return shipping label. I still have to drain the fuel and bar oil, package the saw, and take it to a shipping location because the product was defective from the beginning. I recognize that VEVOR ultimately agreed to honor the warranty, and I appreciate that. However, the amount of time and effort required to reach that point was far greater than it should have been for a product that never worked properly. Based on both the quality of the chainsaw and my warranty experience, I cannot recommend this product.

I've only used it for about 3 hours total so far, but what a great saw. Got lots of power and started right up out of the box after assembly. One pull to start it when its warm. I had some large logs that I needed to cut down the middle (too big for my splitter) and it went through the red oak like butter. Nice to have the extra size and power vs. my 16" Stil. Only one small error in the owner's manual--It does not tell you to put on the teeth before you put on the bar and chain.

It is a cheap China saw but for $100 I can't complain too much. Rather hard to start but it runs well after warm up. The only big issue I have is when this saw is rotated 90deg counter clockwise, it will stall in about 10 seconds. No other saw I own will do that. Might be an issue on my particular saw. I expected to throw this saw in the bin after about cutting 3-4 trees but It may last a bit longer. It is pretty much disposable.
