Will NOT be buying this brand again!! So, I bought this a few months back, and in the beginning it was alright. Speeds were acceptable considering its USB 2.0 however out of the blue, about a week in, it stopped showing up on windows. Device manager could see it, but it wasnt able to be accessed in anyway. So I managed to fix it with an obscure disk utility in command prompt (because the normal disk utility wasnt able to talk to it) and finally got it formatted again and was able to see it and use it. Now it's terrible! It will write at speed for a couple seconds, then it will just stop transferring data for about double the time it spent writing. After that it will start up again for a few second and again with the stopping for twice as long. I would take it back if I could, but I was out of my return window and I'm just learning my lesson that you get what you pay for. I would love for Verbatim to reach out and replace my defective product, but in the meantime, i'm just going to buy a different brand (samsung) and forget I made this mistake. The only upside is that it was a cheap mistake, 128gb for about $11 is pretty cheap. Will not be purchasing this brand of flash storage again. ... show more

There are flash drives with much higher capacity and support USB 3.0 but there are many stereo or automotive entertainment systems that don't support USB 3.0 or don't support drives over 32GB. As an example I have a JVC system in my travel trailer that does not support either. Any flash drive over 32GB will not even be recognized at all. I typically listen to my favorite music or audio books while traveling so I now load them on these 32GB flash drives and can use them in any old or new vehicle, and in older stereo players with USB connections. ... show more
