Excellent little night light! My son loves dinosaurs and absolutely love this night light. It's kid friendly and easy to use. He's able to change out the different dinosaurs by himself.     • Here come the dinos!
I ordered this for my dino loving grandson. He is going to love it! The first thing I checked out was the content of materials. The ad says all materials are free from harmful chemicals. That was key for me. It's cool that the remote control allows the child to choose from a wide array of colors, although it is my guess that once a favorite is picked, he'll stick with that same color. This is the 3rd generation of this holographic night light. The base is supposed to be more stable on this one. However, I would suggest to the manufacturer that they consider a 4th generation with an additional change in the design. Speaking as an artist and interior designer, you never want to detract from the focal point. With this night light the focal point should be the dinosaur. But, the intensity of the stand light detracts from the dinosaur. Therefore, their design on the 1st generation is far superior. I'm guessing that it was more lightweight than the 2nd or 3rd generation. Perhaps weighting the base on generation 1 would be preferable to distracting from the object of interest. Plus, I'm worried that the base is bright enough to keep him awake. Yes, this nightlight is dimmable, but dimming the ultra bright base, will fade the dino into extinction. A quick test, squint and see what you notice. Is it the dinosaur or the base? That's like surrounding a gorgeous work of art with a bold and garrish frame. The frame totally distracts from the work of art. In this case, the frame is the ultra bright base. Just a suggestion. ... show more
