I bought this 16GB flash drive since it was the lowest price in this tiny size form factor. I measured the speed on my old PC's USB 3.0 port and it was about average for this tiny size. In Crystal Disk Benchmark, I got over 100MB/s read speed so thats very good, write speed measured was about 50MB/s. However I discovered in copying large files that there appears to be a built-in write cache on the drive of about 250MB size. So you get that 50MB/s write speed only while its in the size of that cache, after that the write speed drops to about 12MB/s. For my use of the drive, it would mostly be for reading and rarely writing so thats OK for me. ... show more

Comparatively slow transfer speed, and difficult to remove even with small fingers. Best for use on devices where it can remain plugged in. I stuck it into my Blink Sync Module where it seems to work well.
