The heat distribution in these pans, perhaps because of the pattern on the bottoms, is excellent. There is very little sticking. They are rather sturdy, handsome pots. My unswerving support for them comes from having left the larger of the pair on high heat, forgetting it and having all of the liquid boiling out, crusting the inside food, and somewhat discoloring the outside of the pan. I thought it was ruined. It was not. The pan cleaned up easily, even with the baked-on residue. The outside of the pan remains solid with no chipping or flaking. No changes in cooking ability are to be found. These are not only economical and good pans, but they are also tough. I highly recommend them.

This came in 1 day. The knob on the 2qt pot was broken. I submitted a return/replace claim. I returned the defective pots to Kohl’s. The replacement came the next day. How do they do that? Haven’t used them yet, but 1qt pot did stay upright when empty. These will be just fine.
