I love my grill. It maintains temps as it should. My only complaint is the built in meat thermometer is about 10 degrees off vs 3 other ones I own.

Good when it works. Have had it for two years and usually have issues. Turns on and off, reads temps wrong, get errors messages on the screen. Company takes your info but never calls back. Terrible customer service . Would not recommend this. Invest in something else edit: customer service eventually got back to me after a year of emails and voicemails and sent me a new grill to replace the old one. edit#2 seems these have a 2 year shelf life, same thing happened. took customer service close to 3 weeks to try and send a replacement piece which they said would help the problem but did not. ... show more

When this item arrived I was super happy! The grill is very large, and arrived in a giant, coffin sized box, crated very well. Upon unboxing I was very pleased and impressed with the packaging. Extremely well overpacked to prevent shipping damage. As I was putting it together (it's very heavy, so expect this step to take at least 2 or 3 people,) I ran into my first issues. The bolts provided with the grill did not thread into the gill correctly. There appears to have been some sort of manufacturing defect, and the screws were either too large or just offthreaded. Upon contacting the company, at first, they impressed me with how quickly they responded. They immediately agreed there was a problem, and agreed to reship the panels that make up the base. Unfortunately, this itself took forever! January 23rd they agreed there was a problem, and they would ship replacements. The replacements did not actually ship until Feb 13th! When they finally did arrive, thankfully, the grill went together with no issues. If this was the only issue, I would probably have given it 4 stars. However, the issues continued Within a short time I noted another issue. The grill spontaneously throws an error during the startup process, and just shuts off, for no apparent reason. You start it by pressing the power button, and waiting with the kid open until the pellets start to ignite, and the grill starts to heat up, usually about 15-20 minutes. Well, my grill starts to get hot, then just throws an error and shuts off! So I start the grill, go inside to get my food, and come out to a cold grill. I've tried contacting ussc, and they have been a lot slower to respond. In addition, the tabs on the back of the grill meant to support the lid of the grill were not designed nearly strong enough to bear the weight. See attached pictures, they've bent off completely. Now, I went to start the grill, and it doesn't even boot up. Completely dead. Nothing. Stay away from this grill! ... show more

This pellet grill is awesome, heats up quickly for grilling and puts out the perfect amount of smoke for smoking. Also it is huge, much too big for anything I will ever cook but plenty of room to spread things out, I made my best beef jerky ever with this. It kept up the temperature even when it was 25 degrees outside. Very well built with a great 5 year warranty, so far I've had no problems. The built in searing grate is a great addition to make those perfect grill marks if you're cooking at a lower temperature. I made burgers for friends the other night and they were asking what my secret was.....this grill was it! ... show more

This thing is built like a tank, it makes a Traeger seem like an empty beer can. I put the grill together in a couple hours. When I went to fire the grill up for the first time it was 28 outside and I was able to get the grill up to 450 as long as I kept the lid closed. I was able to smoke sausage at 250 with great smoke on the smoke setting, I can’t wait to see what this thing can do when it warms up. ... show more

When you invest in something it's good to know that the company takes pride in their product and stands behind it. I had an issue with a part after a year and the company sent out a replacement part. I love my new USSC 890 Grill! It is so easy to use, I can roll it where I need it to go by myself and I don't have to wait on my husband to get home to light the charcoal grill or bring home propane for a gas grill. I just go outside and press the on button and set the temperature to where I want it to be and I know it will regulate that temp for me. Seriously making outdoor cooking easy for this busy, working mom. As well as the searing station, I have never used a grill with it's own searing station that I can turn on and off quickly to sear my meat before I cook it. The actual grill itself is nice looking, very sturdy steel and I know it will last for a long time. It is also very easy to clean so that it preserves that shiny, new grill look. We will enjoy many family meals with my USSC Grill! ... show more
