For the longest time, I had been wrestling with my I-phone when I traveled and used it as a gps. I had been propping it up on my coat or my purse and it was more annoying then anything else. I had tried the dash mount before and that was a disaster. This product is perfect! I have an SUV with large cup holders with inserts. I removed the inserts to make the phone holder more stable. It adjusts perfectly to the large cup holders with the added pads that come with the unit. It secures my phone exactly where I place it and never moves. I just had a short 4 hour trip across the state and it worked perfectly. I was able to view the roads and look ahead where before I could only listen. The phone holder can be adjusted width and length wise and fits my S7 perfectly. The cup insert is easy to adjust to a tight fit and just as easy to remove. The telescoping section is bendable yet very sturdy. The phone can be easily turned sideways if you prefer that. The product is very well made and priced right. I highly recommend this product to alleviate any hands free phone issues you may be having. It’s a thoughtful design and I’m very happy with this purchase.

LOVE THIS design except doesn’t work with a pop socket!!! This is by far the best I’ve found - sleek, functional, great cup holder fit and I didn’t even add the additional pads provided! Your holder would have to be tremendously huge for this not to work. I’ve have tried many other brands and they didn’t work well in the cup holder or were huge over all or interfered with the dash... none of the Weather tech “cup” sizes to fit without having slip (so it rattles and was not secure) or the cup was too large and frankly it’s just a pain in the butt - you would have to keep all the cups and the little piece to separate them if you ever wanted to use it in another car. Tried Cellet PH650 Car Cup Holder - great solution for holding the phone, grippers long enough to hold phone with case & pop socket, actually an easier release of the phone, base did tighten well into cup holder but neck and base are huge and cumbersome to use! Wish I could take the Cellet phone holder portion and add to this base - perfect! Alas must return this for me but giving one to my mom for Christmas as she doesn’t use a pop socket and it will be perfect for her!!

This is my second purchase, as the other one broke. It's made of good material, and the clamping mechanism fits perfectly into my Motorola G9 with the case. Others don't open wide enough, but this one does. Easy to assemble, intuitive. The handle is flexible, not too hard or too soft, and can be adjusted to a position that allows for proper viewing angle. A good buy.

This holds up well for a while, then eventually the swivel will loosen and require repeated re-tightening. It served well for four years, but I finally got fed up with having to re-tighten the swivel, that I upgraded to a version with a tensionable ball joint for the swivel, and adjustable beams rather than a gooseneck, since I now have an even larger phone. Eventually the plastic would give out and strip out or crack as you need to gradually tighten the screw more and more. For small, naked phones, this will be great. If you've got a 6" or larger flagship phone in an armored case, you're going to have to take the phone mount itself off and tighten the screw on the swivel. It's simply not designed to maintain tension with repeated rotation and a large, heavy phone.

It worked fine for a while. The flexibility is limited to how many times you pull on the part that holds the phone. The piece that connects to the phone holder snapped off. I used glue temporarily, but it never held up. I stopped using it and will look for something else.
