For the longest time, I had been wrestling with my I-phone when I traveled and used it as a gps. I had been propping it up on my coat or my purse and it was more annoying then anything else. I had tried the dash mount before and that was a disaster. This product is perfect! I have an SUV with large cup holders with inserts. I removed the inserts to make the phone holder more stable. It adjusts perfectly to the large cup holders with the added pads that come with the unit. It secures my phone exactly where I place it and never moves. I just had a short 4 hour trip across the state and it worked perfectly. I was able to view the roads and look ahead where before I could only listen. The phone holder can be adjusted width and length wise and fits my S7 perfectly. The cup insert is easy to adjust to a tight fit and just as easy to remove. The telescoping section is bendable yet very sturdy. The phone can be easily turned sideways if you prefer that. The product is very well made and priced right. This thing serves it purpose, I call it "Nessy" because that's just what it looks like when its set up in the cup holder - looks like the Loch Ness Monster appearing out of the water. Lol Seems pretty sturdy. Fits in my cup hold just fine (I didn't even need to use them rubber thingys for it) but with that said, I wouldn't dare adjust it while its 'locked' in the cup holder. It is made of plastic after all. I don't think it really can accommodate ANY phone (I presume), I mean it is fully adjustable but here's the thing I have found to be a set back with it. When I didn't have my Galaxy Note 10+ in a case, it fitted just fine - nice and snugged. But now my phone has a case on it, its a bit too thick for it. Meaning the bottom part that the phone rest upon isn't long enough. But with that said the two side holders do seem to hold my phone well although where it does hold it in place. (Un)fortunately I haven't went flying over any major potholes yet to see if whether my phone and or the stand would hold up or go flying. But...meh, so far so good. The little bottom holder needs to extend out a little further, IMO. My car is a 2017 Nissan Altima, and as some of you may know Samsung Galaxy phones a fairly thin. I wouldn't really recommend it for people who have their phones in thick Outta Box cases or something of the like. I really think the handles, especially the bottom one would be too small to hold it if you did. The case I have for my phone isn't really that think at all, its just one of them cases that come with a wallet type of thing. So thats why I gave it 4 Stars instead of 5. ... show more

This is a really solid phone holder for the car. So far I'm really liking it. The power cord I use is a branded cord so the clip on the base of the cup piece won't accommodate the cord. There is also a second piece included with a ball and metal locking hook. I have no idea what that's for.

It seemed to be of good quality, however, one of the two retractable arms on the sides of the phone that hold it in place often became jammed and would not extend all the way open when the button on the top back of the device was pressed to remove the phone. This was a not a critically important issue, as I could generally still get my phone out, and the attachment was generally secure though I needed to spend time trying to fix it on occasion. So, I just put up with that for a year, as the item was generally functioning reasonably well. However, yesterday, the entire phone-holding portion of the device snapped off - this is not the detachable portion that connects the phone holder to the stem of the stand - this was the tip of the stem in which the plastic just snapped. This is extremely disappointing for something I purchased barely even a year ago. I tried reaching out to customer service and have received no reply. ... show more

The only downside, I do have to replace them about once a year due to the attachment breaking off from moving them around to get in my center console, but well worth the money and I expect that from bending regularly, so 5 stars. ... show more
