Fits so-so in my car's air vent (red screw tab will not catch for anything, no matter how much I try to adjust it) but the mount still remains securely in place with cell phone attached, so it's a non-issue thus far. I use with my Z Fold 4 in both open and closed positions, again with no issues. The design makes for easy plug and use of power cable for charging and for landscape and portrait positioning of the phone. I got this mount because my wife has one of those phones that unfold and needs a large mounting bracket. It holds the phone very securely and the attachment to the vent is a little tricky but not too hard. Works well but you need to use 2 hands to get it in place. I am a real customer and no one asked me to write this. Hope it helps ... show more

Easy installation, holds pretty tight, although not very sturdy when going over bumps and having larger phone in cradle. Probably works alot better for smaller and lighter devices.

    • Flimsy,poorly designed to hold the heavy Fold phones.
I don't know if I'll have enough space to convey how bad this phone holder was designed. Anyone that trusts this flimsy item to hold there $2000 z fold phone has more money than brains. I redesigned mine because it didn't securely fit on any of my 4 cars. I redesigned it to actually hold the phone while it is opened in big screen by adding extended rubber holders on both ends. I pulled off the little red vent clip holder and made a bigger, stronger, universal fit for all my cars. There is no wiggle or bounce at all now AND it works great with the expensive pen holder case as well. The original/can't have a case on it. I have about 3 hours in the modification but with just a tad of effort/ thought, the manufacturer could have made a better product that you wouldn't have to remove the phone case to use and would be more secure with our very expensive phones. Caution!!! I'm more than sure the other holders for the z fold phones are just as cheaply and unreliably built. ... show more
