The car phone mount I purchased from an offline store stopped working after less than 6 months of use. I often use my phone to take important calls while driving and I had to look for an upgraded car phone holder. After comparing several brands on Amazon, I finally bought this VANMASS car phone holder. Not only does it greatly enhance my driving safety, but it increases my car match as well. I love the swivel design of this suction cup. Very modern, and unlike any suction cup. It's amazing. All you have to do is place the suction cup on a flat mounting surface. Then, rotate the suction cup to the LOCK logo in one second and the suction cup is firmly fixed to my windshield. Stylish design and simple installation! However, it is worth noting that the seller does not recommend using it on the windshield during the summer months, as they reminded me in the after-sales email: In extreme summer heat: Please install this suction cup away from direct sunlight, such as the dashboard or air vents. Perhaps it is this unique design that causes this suction cup to be so strong. It is firmly attached to my car's windshield without shaking or slipping. As well as my daily commute, I took my phone on long trips where it remained firmly in place despite bumpy roads. Unlike other mounts, I've used in the past, whenever there is a bumpy road my phone will shake. Another incredibly helpful feature of this mount is the adjustable drop-down bottom and clip arm width, which allows me to use it with different phone sizes. My wife has a small phone, and the holder adjusts easily to fit her device. It also allows me to easily switch between landscape and portrait modes, depending on the app I'm using. It's also very easy to insert and remove my phone from the holder with just one hand, which is a big plus when driving. Overall, I'm pleased with the car phone holder. It's a high-quality product that does exactly what it's supposed to do, and I feel confident that my phone is safe and secure while driving. If you're looking for a reliable phone holder for your car, I would definitely recommend trying this one.

This is an amazing phone holder! It is easy to mount and holds very securely. It is super easy to put your phone in and get out. You can pretty much just use one hand even. I have a different holder in my other vehicle, and it is really a pain to get my phone in and out. I drop it half the time. This one you place the phone on the shelf and squeeze the sides to tighten. Taking it out is even easier. You just press a button and the whole thing opens up. I absolutely love this, and it is the best product I have purchased for a long time!

Mount work as expected. Attaches nicely to 2019 horizontal vent (have not tried using on a vertical vent or surface-mounted on the dashboard). Even though minimum in size, the holder does partially block air flow from the vent - but that was expected. If unobstructed air flow is desired, mounting on the dashboard would be required. iPhone is secured firmly and releases easily. Construction of the holder is also solid.

This replaces a mount of almost identical design, the suction cup of which melted in the California sun. This one seems to be of better quality, and hopefully will fare better. The major problem with all similar mounts is that they hold the phone in the sun, and the phone rapidly overheats during the day. The position is, however, very convenient.
