The car phone mount I purchased from an offline store stopped working after less than 6 months of use. I often use my phone to take important calls while driving and I had to look for an upgraded car phone holder. After comparing several brands on Amazon, I finally bought this VANMASS car phone holder. Not only does it greatly enhance my driving safety, but it increases my car match as well. I love the swivel design of this suction cup. Very modern, and unlike any suction cup. It's amazing. All you have to do is place the suction cup on a flat mounting surface. Then, rotate the suction cup to the LOCK logo in one second and the suction cup is firmly fixed to my windshield. Stylish design and simple installation! However, it is worth noting that the seller does not recommend using it on the windshield during the summer months, as they reminded me in the after-sales email: In extreme summer heat: Please install this suction cup away from direct sunlight, such as the dashboard or air vents. Perhaps it is this unique design that causes this suction cup to be so strong. It is firmly attached to my car's windshield without shaking or slipping. As well as my daily commute, I took my phone on long trips where it remained firmly in place despite bumpy roads. Unlike other mounts, I've used in the past, whenever there is a bumpy road my phone will shake. Another incredibly helpful feature of this mount is the adjustable drop-down bottom and clip arm width, which allows me to use it with different phone sizes. My wife has a small phone, and the holder adjusts easily to fit her device. It also allows me to easily switch between landscape and portrait modes, depending on the app I'm using. It's also very easy to insert and remove my phone from the holder with just one hand, which is a big plus when driving. Overall, I'm pleased with the car phone holder. It's a high-quality product that does exactly what it's supposed to do, and I feel confident that my phone is safe and secure while driving. If you're looking for a reliable phone holder for your car, I would definitely recommend trying this one. ... show more

These folks deserve a real shout out for great follow through and customer support. The cell phone holder was easy to install and the quality is excellent. Took an 8 day trip from New Jersey to Virginia, to North Carolina to Williamsburg, Va to DC, then Baltimore inner Harbor and never a glitch in May. We get to June, the car is outside, the temps start rising and one day, due to so much heat in the car the holder releases. At this point it is good to note that the mounting surface is a 2025 Hyundai Tucson with a pebbly texture. Asked the manufacturer if there was anything they could do. They asked for pics and a description of the problem. Back comes the answer that they have a special base that adheres to a not smooth surface. It arrives, we install, and everything has been perfect for over a month with temps in the 90s, the car closed, all perfect!!!! ... show more

This dash mount works way better than similar products from 10-15 years ago. I stopped using my old one because the suction mount would just fail randomly while I was driving, dropping my phone on the dash or worse, watching it bounce down to the console. I didn't provide a star rating for adhesion because I never stuck it to the dash. I don't know if this mount would have that issue or not, but I never stick anything to the plastic dash since most mounts end up leaving a sticky residue on the dash that's tough to remove. There is a black plastic sticker that covers the sticky stuff that adheres to your dash (it has the dash mounting instructions on said sticker), but if you're like me and you are going to only use it on the windshield so you can remove it and re-attach it whenever you want, leave the plastic sticker on the suction cup mount. It keeps the glue on the mount from getting all over your car, and contrary to my initial assumption, didn't cause any issues with the mount staying firmly in place on the windshield. It has a rotating collar that you use to lock and unlock the suction cup from the windshield, and to my surprise, it actually worked flawlessly each time. This dash mount has several points where you can adjust length or angle, and each point seems to lock into place after you have made your adjustment well. At one point the road we were driving over was really bad, and while the mount never came loose and dropped my phone, the extendable neck portion of the mount automatically deployed, which caused the phone to vibrate back and forth a lot since it was extended out so far from the windshield mount. The only complaint I have is the locking arms that hold your phone in place. They worked well on an iPhone Pro and a Pro Max, but the Max was a tighter fit. It did fit, even with a phone case on the iPhone, but I don't know if it will hold anything much larger than that. Also, if you have a pop socket on the back of your phone case, the phone will still fit in the Vanmass mount, but it's kind of precarious. I found the best way to securely keep the phone in the mount was to sit the phone in the bottom mount first, placing the little plastic fingers in the slots of the phone case where the speakers are, and then holding the phone back against the Vanmass mount and squeezing the side locking arms down in place. Doing this didn't interfere with the sound coming out of the phone speakers at all. ... show more
