This is the same design as a GPS holder I used for years, until it was knocked loose and broke. The holder is effectively identical, but the part that holds it onto the vent is totally different, and I believe better. It has one adjustable mental loop that hooks over a vent blade and a screw to hold it tight. It also has a ball to attach the holder so it is turned easier for better viewing. The quality seems good, no defects, easy to read and understand instructions, and good quality plastic construction. Which is what I had on the previous one.
