My wife has been driving without a phone holder and it honestly started scaring me when she needed directions. This was a great value as she doesn’t have MagSafe so I needed a cradle design. The vent mount works great since you’re able to tighten it down and offered the perfect placement in our case. The holder is strong and easy to close/ open. Easy to set up and is sturdy once it’s placed. I followed the directions included and I attached mine to the dash. It is easy to turn then lock back in place with the phone set. Great when following directions my older car doesn’t have a computer screen console. I loved it so much I ordered a second one for my other car.

The ac mount doesn’t work very well and doesn’t hold itself up, my phone also falls out quite a bit when i’m driving as well. On the other hand I’ve never used the actual car mount while driving but it appears to be very sturdy and is easy to use.

This is my 3rd such device and the best so far. I live in Texas where it does get hot and the others would separate from the sticky part of the suction cup as I have mine mounted on the windshield just to the right of the door frame driver side. Not only did it look messy and ugly it would not hold anymore. I read about this item and that it would not run if the windshield got hot and so far it as not and we have had a very hot summer. It's easy to mount as most all are. I have not tried it on the dash as I like the ease of view right in front of me to the left on the wind shield. (see Picture ) . I would recommend and would by again.
