I'm completely satisfied with this purchase. The unit mounts easily, stays in place while in use, and can be removed easily. It holds the phone fairly securely. It does allow some play, as compared to units which clamp the phone in place. That's not a problem when driving on paved roads, but it does allow the phone to gradually slide out of the holder when driving on rough dirt roads. Great little holder. My GPS was updated & is no longer working so I need this holder so I can see directions easily. The adhesive is pretty strong. Be aware of using your phone at night in the holder. It glares on your windshield and is extremely distracting. You see double and your trying to navigate your way its not safe. I cant use it at night which is not helpful since I obviously need directions at any time. Anywhere on your dash is distracting. Daytime is not an issue. ... show more

After seeing various comments saying the glue melted inside the car I decided to get creative. The dash cover inside my car is made of a similar material as the loop side of velcro, so I decided to super glue the hook side of the velcro under the phone holder. Just peel off the glue from the underside of the phone holder and then super glue the velcro strips. Dont use velcro that comes with adhesives or hot glue the strips if you're concerned about glue melting. This worked very well, the holder does not move at all and im no longer worried about the Arizona sun melting the glue on my dash. ... show more
