This litter box is amazing! Our cats were afraid of it at first, so we did the following: Kept the original litter box next to it but stopped scooping it, then removed the old box after several days and put pee pads in front of the new box just in case, kept the barrier off it, and used manual mode to clean the box when the cats weren't in the room. Now they are using it and we've put the barrier on. Changing the bag is a breeze—with two cats who don't like to poop in the yard, we have to change bags about once a week, so much better than scooping twice a day! And it really contains the odors! We have had this for a couple of months now. We use this with tofu litter. We have 2 cats & it lasts us about 10 days between emptying, which is super easy. Our kittens are over 10lbs and have plenty of room to move around in it. I love that there are no pinch points so it's safe for our very curious boys. It's quiet, efficient, and easy to use. The app is also super easy to change the litter functions and there have been no major bugs. It's expensive, but worth it! ... show more

    • Great device, buy the version with the plastic waste bin
We are very happy we made this purchase. It takes most light weight clumping litters and we have no issues. The cardboard waste bin was a bit of a disappointment since its life was only a few months, so we bought the plastic one from popur directly along with a litter catching step. The instructions on the digital panel could be better but otherwise it works well. Note- it is BIG. You need a good size space to dedicate to a cat box to use this. I both a barrier to contain any litter that bounced out in the disposal cycle and a litter catching may. But my house doesn’t stink like a cat that just pooped and I only have to replace the bag about every 3 weeks vs scooping daily, so… worth it. ... show more

    • Shoppers beware - read this before you buy this product
The kitty litter entry is too tall for the cat to see and so it didn't work for the cat. Also, the box where the dump goes into is made out of cardboard, can't get cheaper than that. I tried everything for my cat to use this but just wouldn't. The rip off comes when they charge me about 21% ($71.40) as restocking fee when I returned it....why should I pay for something that didn't work. Shame on the seller and shame on Amazon for allowing them to do this to their customers. I will be looking elsewhere to shop from now on, I lost my confidence with Amazon with this experience.....there are other places to shop like ebay, temu, walmart, costco, etc ... show more

We bought this for our 3 young cats and so far it has worked great. Our cats have no problem using it or any hesitation about it (they actually jumped in when we were setting it up) When the machine is going through the cleaning process I can hear it from the next room but it is not screaming loud so it doesn't really bother us (sounds as if our trouble maker has jumped on the counter) I do wish the application was a little more useful, it is a bare minimum that just tells you when the box has been used and lets you reset or manually cycle the cleaning process. We added litter because we weren't sure but so far it hasn't told us that it needs litter or that the waste bag needs to be changed (we just changed it.. well because we have 3 cats) The waste container keeps the used litter in it's waste container and keeps most of the odor inside. It does not smell like a normal open litter box but there is still an odor. If I figure out how to better contain that I will update this review. We have only used the elastic litter bags that came with the machine so I do not know if others will fit or keep the litter odor in better. We bought the plastic waste bin but haven't used it yet because the cardboard one has held up well. The box is BIG! Our home doesn't have a lot of extra room so we are actually going to remove the long bathroom cabinet in exchange for a smaller one so that we can place the box out of the main thoroughfare to the toilet With 3 cats we have emptied the waste bin once a week (not because it says that it is full but because that is when the trash gets picked up. This is truly the best automatic kitty litter box! I only found it after searching high and low for every other brand while watching/reading thousands of reviews on each. I have no idea why this one doesn't come up when searching Amazon for the highest-reviewed automatic litter boxes. It should! We have a Maine Coon, so most other boxes will not give him enough room. The open-top design makes it easy for him to go and for us to clean whenever needed. Other designs are harder to clean than a regular scoop-it-yourself box. Because of the design, as the box starts to lift, it covers the poop with litter before it hits the grates, which keeps it fairly clean all the time. ... show more

Love this litter box. It’s expensive, but worth it if you plan to buy an auto clean litter box. I do wish it hand indentions on the side for easier moving, but it is a great addition to my house for cutting out the daily litter cleanup.
