The media could not be loaded. Quick Read Review: I am very impressed and happy overall with this litter box. I was very concerned that I would regret this purchase, but I’m happy to report that is not the case. Even with the minor complaints I have, I love not having to clean the litter box every day, multiple times a day. Even more so that my cats are now in a healthier situation in having clean litter every time they go. My two cats took to it fairly quickly with the brave one going in within half an hour and the skittish one following suit about an hour later. I’ve attached photos, videos, and screenshots to hopefully assist you on your decision making. I’ll answer any questions or clear up any confusion if there are any. **BELOW IS MY ORIGINAL REVIEW, UPDATES ADDED AT THE BOTTOM** Below is my detailed review: What you get: My litter box came with a few extra goodies! A few kitty toys, a litter mat, and not one but TWO rolls of drawer liners for the litter box. Looks/dimensions: Like I mentioned, it is, in my opinion, more aesthetically pleasing than several of the other competitors. It comes in 4 colors and I personally chose the avocado green. I was worried that it would stick out like a sore thumb in our apartment, but it’s actually a subtle green and the unit itself doesn’t call too much attention to itself. The product dimensions listed on the Amazon details page (24 x 22 x 27.5 inches) are accurate. The entry hole itself is roughly 9 inches wide and is ~14.5 inches from the ground. We have two cats, one chonky boy and one slender boy; both are also average height. Neither have an issue getting in or out. You’ll notice a small step below the hole, I’m not sure how much it was intended to be used, but neither of my cats use it to actually get in, mostly just to look inside. To get in, they both put both their front paws on the lip of the entry hole and just hoist themselves in. Your cat’s behavior may vary. Function: I’ve included a video with my review that gives you an idea of how it works. Your kitty does their business, they get out, then the drum begins to turn automatically. Your kitty’s “business” gets separated with a screen that lets the clean litter pass on through while the “business” clumps get dropped into a storage drawer below. It continues to turn until it gets back into its default position with the litter ready to go for the next user. It’s that simple. Clean litter for your kitty every time. And like the makers of this litter box claim, it’s very quiet. All you hear is the gentle electric hum of the motor as it turns. We have ours in the living room, but I have no doubts a person could sleep through the small amount of noise it makes. Another plus is no smell since the “business” is always getting sorted out and emptied into the storage drawer below which is spacious as well. Between the two of my kitties, it usually takes between 3-4 days for the app to alert me that the liner has to be changed because the drawer is full. Even better, changing the liner is so much easier and less time consuming than scooping. And to top it all off? It utilizes UV light sterilization to kill the germs and bacteria that are the primary cause of odor in the first place. I quickly noticed there was no longer any lingering odor coming from our litter box area, which is something I suppose I’d just gotten used to. App: So yes, this litter box comes with a companion app. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the initial setup and pairing was very easy. The UI (user interface) is very easy and I am sure many will find it easy to navigate the app with ease. It feels well made and it gives me confidence that developers will continue to work on it and not abandon it. It has a lot of intuitive features that I have yet to take advantage of, but the short list is it can alert you to your kitty using the Loo, that a cleaning cycle has initiated, give you your pet’s weight, alert you when the “business” drawer is full and need to be emptied, etc. You can also customize the cleaning schedule if you so desire. I also noticed that there is virtually no delay between sending a command and the litter box responding. Customer Service: I reached out to Customer Service a couple of times (both through Amazon and their website) and each time they have been prompt in replying and very kind in their responses. I can also verify that they are based in the US which is so nice to know. I only had a couple of minor complaints that are as follows: *NO LONGER AN ISSUE, SEE UPDATE BELOW!** Firstly: the litter box weighs your pet during each use and sends the result to you via the app. During the first week, the weights of both my cats were way off. My chonky boy came in at 10lbs while my slender boy came in at 2lbs. I can guarantee that was not accurate. During the course of having this litter box, the weight readout has been very inconsistent. With fluctuations being as extreme as -/+ 5lbs. Not sure if an app update or firmware update can fix this, but unless this is absolutely crucial for you to have, I don’t see it as a big downfall. I will say the last few days have been closer to accurate, so it may be a calibration thing that I’m not aware of. Lastly: A complaint that isn’t unique to this box, and will usually be a problem if you use clumping clay litter, is the tracking of the litter outside of the box. This litter box does not solve the litter tracking problem, even with the neat litter mat they provide for free. Especially with my two boys, who will sometimes leap from the hole and land completely off the mat. I still have to do a daily sweep to make sure litter doesn’t start tracking all over the apartment. Again, not the fault of this litter box, but something to be aware of that you will still experience. Like I said, very minor complaints that are hardly relevant, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this litter box to any cat owner. It’s worth the investment upfront since it has saved me time and a headache of having to worry about making sure their litter is clean. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *UPDATE 1: April 9th, 2022* The weight readout inaccuracy was, in fact, a recalibration issue! I reached out to customer support and they assisted me with very clear instructions on how to recalibrate the scale. Very easy to do, took me less than a minute, and it works perfectly now. It's accuracy is within -/+ 1lb of their real weight. Customer service really knows their stuff and is willing to help you to ensure you're having a pleasant experience with this litter box. ------------------------------- **Update 2: June 18th, 2022 (3 month update)** We are still loving our automatic litter box. Even more so, we just found out that we're pregnant!! As great of news as that is, many will know that it is nearly required that pregnant women must NEVER clean litter boxes for the health of the baby...so guess who is stuck with litterbox duty 100% of the time! Yep, this guy...but it's so much easier and less daunting that I don't mind! haha. We have had zero issues and are still loving the scoop free life. I just finished the second monthly cleaning and it took me about half an hour since I like to take my time. We have converted two other families to this litter box and they are so much happier for it. I still recommend this litter box 100%!! ------------------------------- **Update 3: September 26th, 2022 (6 month update)** Still going strong! About two weeks ago, I had finally finished the two rolls of bags that initially came with the litter box. I purchased another roll of 25ct for $15. A good buy in my opinion since they last so long. I've had absolutely no issues since my last update. I've since done a few monthly maintenance cleanings which are super easy and take maybe a half hour start to finish, you could be faster, but I like to take my time when I do things like that. Our two boys are still use the litter box without issue. Our cats definitely like having a clean litter box every time and will get fussy if I don't empty the tray shortly after it gets full (which causes the box to stop sifting). Like I said in my last update, my wife is now very pregnant and I have become responsible for a lot around the house, so I am very happy that daily litter box cleaning in not on the list. I still recommend it to all friends, family, and coworkers. Of course their biggest hang up is the price, which I understand....but man, this is truly worth the convenience you get in return. ... show more

    • Incredible Automatic Litter Box

TLDR: The litter box is really great and customer service is super friendly and helpful! I thought I would test one out and return it if I didn't like it but now have two because of how good they are! Background: I have two cats, one older cat (13 years old) and a younger one (2 years old). The younger one likes to pee on the ground if I don't scoop their litter boxes every couple of days. I tried an automatic litter box that used trays of crystal litter (because it was cheaper) and he would stop peeing on the ground if I changed the boxes regularly. However, if anyone else has had one of those litter boxes, you would know that the crystal litter tracks everywhere, hurts and is gross when you step on it, and the smell of pee was never contained. I wanted to try a different automatic litter box out that would reduce smell and litter tracking so I started looking into more expensive options. I figured that if it didn't work as well as I wanted it to work, I could always return them. My sister and her husband have a different automatic litter box that had a wider opening and told me that they didn't really ever use it because it didn't work that well. I settled on the Leo's Loo Too because it looked futuristic and cool and promised to reduce litter tracking significantly. Customer Service Experience: When it got here, I was upset because it didn't come with the accessories that I ordered. I contacted customer support who replied quickly and sent out replacements for me. These replacements came about a week later. I actually got another one delivered today and the same issue happened so I contacted support again and they refunded me the difference between the the non-bundle and bundled litter boxes on top of sending me another accessory set because of the repeat error. Overall, they were extremely easy to work with and went above and beyond what they needed to do. Experience with the Litter Box: The litter box came with good supply of liners and filters. It was a lot larger than I was expecting it to be but it's not like it's too big. It was extremely easy to set up but was a little difficult to figure out where to fill the litter to. I ended up just filling it to where I thought I should and then running the cycle a couple times for it to dump out the extra litter. My cats adjusted to using the litter box almost immediately. They were curious about the sound it makes when running the cleaning cycle at first but that didn't stop them from using it within the same day I got it. They seem to love using it! I put it next to an old litter box just in case they didn't want to use it but it seems like they exclusively use the Loo Too now. They like it so much that I've bought another one so that they can each have their own and to also make it so that I have to empty them out less frequently. Another bonus is that the smell is almost nonexistent. I was skeptical of the filters actually doing any kind of smell filtering since you just kind of put it in the litter tray but it really does eliminate the smell. I have to get really close to the litter box opening to even get a whiff of their bathroom breaks. Also, there is almost zero litter tracking with the litter pad. My cats love to throw litter out of litter boxes for some reason but the smaller opening to the Loo Too prevents them from throwing it everywhere. The pad that comes with the accessory bundle also does a great job of cleaning off whatever is stuck on their paws. Overall, I love these litter boxes and my cats seem to love them too.
