These lights are great. You can attach them anywhere. There’s a magnetic base and the charge lasts for probably 20 days. If you don’t go buy them too much because they’re motion sensitive. I use them in the trunk of my Tesla and the trunk of my Tesla and the front of my Tesla so when I open the door, it lights up well without having to replace any lights. These are awesome. I’ve had them for over three years and they still work great they require a USB-C charge, but once charged they last forever. We absolutely love these lights! We bought them to install inside two hallway closets that are otherwise very dark, making it difficult to find things certain times of the day. These lights solved our problem. We installed them on the ceiling with the included metal brackets that have self-adhesive pads (plus a hole for a screw if needed). The metal brackets then secure the light with internal magnets. That makes them easy to detach for charging. Then just snap them back into the brackets. They're nice and bright for our needs with 3 color temperature options. We prefer the warmest color setting. High quality build with a snooth aluminum finish. The motion activation is wonderful! 10/10! When we open the bifold door and approach the closet, the light comes on automatically. This is important because a set of round motion lights we previously bought from Costco turned on when we walked past the closet with the doors closed, which drained the battery. I bought a new home and was so excited to have upper cabinets above my washer and dryer. There is no window to the outside and once we were moved in the laundry room seemed so dark. I decided to give these a try and ordered one set. At first I wasn’t impressed but thought maybe I put them in the wrong spot under the cabinet. Extremely bright light, I've attached this to my closet and our pantry/storage room as they don't have any built in light sources. We've set it to the motion sensor function and it's working as intended. It's very effective as it's able to pick up on any motion within its circle. We ended up charging the other one and it seems to also charge very quickly, I estimated probably 30% to 100% in about an hour and half if my timing was accurate.
