  • Best shoe polish
Size: 50 ml Color: Light Brown
This shoe polish is expensive, but still a great value because of its performance. It is definitely a different formulation than other shoe polish. It might be the best shoe polish made. Clean the leather first with saddle soap or other leather cleaner to open the pores. This polish conditions the leather (if the leather isn’t covered with artificial plastic gloss from the factory) and creates a deep natural shine that isn’t glossy, just clean looking and deep. The leather looks like new. I recommend this polish for shoes made of fine leather. ... show more

  • Brought my shoes back to life!
Size: 50 ml Color: Light Brown
I have a closet full of brown leather shoes (maybe too many!). Good but not highly expensive. After years of neglect and me watching a few videos on shoes- most recommended this brand of conditioner or polishes. Once I received this, I nerded out and collected all my shoes and sat down to start bringing them back to life ( while watching football of course). I used a microfiber applicator and swirled it around in the tin. Goes on smooth. Most of my shoes were so dried out i had to apply twice. After a good brushing with my horsehair shoe brush ( if you don't have one - there are good sets on Amazon) they were revived. The one picture with two shoes shows a one with no polish the right one with one application. The other picture is of the shoes I'm wearing at work that I haven't worn in two years because they looked sad. It restores the color and richness of the leather. It also softens them up a bit. The brushing adds a bit of shine but all but 2 pairs really aren't "shiny" shoes. Those two pairs were night and day difference. I really didn't know how important good polish is...and actually taking care of leather shoes. Watch some videos...then get to work. It's actually pretty satisfying and relaxing ( even though my wife just rolled her eyes at me with my stack of shoes). Plus, this tin should last a long time. ... show more

  • Spit and Polished
Size: 50 ml Color: Black
Having spent some time in the military I thought there was only one type of shoe polish. The harsh smell of that bird still brings back some memories but there is a better way. SAPHIR Medaille d’Or Pate De Luxe is by far one of the better polishes you use. It goes on easy, smells great and will buff out to high shine. It is also great for putting a mirror finish on your shoes and boots as well. ... show more

  • High shine, softens leather. Not petroleum based.
Size: 50 ml Color: Neutral
This is an excellent shoe polish. Based on a beeswax formula it softens the leather and with light buffing reveals a lasting shine.

  • The shine speaks for its self
Size: 100 ml Color: Black
This stuff is flawless. My work boots are over a year old and had many rubbed down areas from working 15hr days, rubbing on concrete. You cant even tell the spots were there, only that the boots are too big for me and creased. The shine lasts weeks. Technique is important, but I have the meathod down. I will forever be using Saphir. I will add photos ASAP ... show more

  • The Best wax ever
Size: 50 ml Color: Navy Blue
It is probably the best wax made hands down. My only complaint is not a major one, but I will say it: I wish it had more pigments. I purchased the Navy Blue wax and use it for a top layer on black boots. I spread this layer with my fingers and this would normally color my fingers blue, this however left only a nice moisturizing sheen, no visible pigments at all. While I feel it lacked in pigments, it more than made up for it in shine. I always love the natural smell from Saphir products no harsh chemicals here, just natural moisturizers. I totally understand that waxes don't contain much color normally and if you want something with a lot of pigments, you get that with a cream. However with what I am using it for I can't use a navy blue cream, it would be to to much blue. Anyway, this will not keep me from purchasing or using this product again. No matter what, this is the best wax shoe polish ever. Keep in mind though this is the final stage to use when spit shining, for a heavier pigment and to cover scuffs etc. you need a cream. I usually use Tarago though due to the price. It is also a very good cream that seems to also be natural, however I have no proof and that is in another review! Thanks for staying around to the end, Now go ahead and hit the like button! If you want me to review the cream by Saphir just let me know! Or send me a jar! This review by the way is like all my other ones; totally honest and everything was purchased and paid for by me! I never do reviews on items I received for free or discounted. I don't know anything about getting things for free to review. However even if I did, I would still be honest. Anyway, wrapping up I will say that Saphir wax is way way more expensive than a can of Kiwi or Lincoln but it is well worth every penny! Nothing outshines Saphir! ... show more

  • Worth every penny
Size: 50 ml Color: Cognac
I have tried many polishes before this. It worked perfectly on my store bought light brown/cognac Florsheim Sorrento oxfords. These shoes are closed pores so they don’t absorb oils well, because of the polish compound (low oil, medium wax) it restored color back to the surfaces of my shoes and nourished the leather to a natural finish. Applying lights coat will get you lots of shine, so don’t overdo it. Great purchase for a regularly maintained pair of shoes. ... show more
