I cannot get over how incredibly useful these are! There are 5 levels of light, manual or automatic "on" and they charge up quickly. I installed one in a small bedroom closet, a pantry, a linen closet, AND on the baseboard of my bathroom for that middle of the night trip. The neatest thing about these fixtures is they sense motion (it actually has a little eye) and turns on automatically. It turns off within 10 seconds after sensing no motion. I have ordered more. Best Under-Cabinet Lights — Easy, Affordable, and So Convenient! These under-cabinet lights are the best! They were incredibly easy to install, and when the battery runs low, you just plug them in and recharge—no hassle at all. Once again, my builder didn’t invest in under-cabinet lighting, but these lights work perfectly as a replacement. No big dollars spent on an electrician—just tape them up or screw them in, turn them on, and you’re good to go. I use the motion sensor function at night, and it’s so convenient. They provide just the right amount of light for nighttime use in the kitchen or hallway. These lights are economical, practical, and work exactly as advertised.     • Excellent lights, but removing the adhesive is impossible

First off, I love these lights. I don’t have issues with them being overly sensitive to motion detection like other folks. I bought them to use in my apartment that didn’t have any lighting in the laundry area or over the kitchen sink. The lights work great, produce steady illumination, and have a long battery life. The charging cord isn’t long, but it also isn’t a unique cord and I charged them right next to an outlet anyways so that didn’t matter to me. I’d give them 5 stars if not for the issues I encountered while moving. As someone who wanted as much of my security deposit back as possible, I tried to remove these without damaging the walls. That proved impossible. I used the adhesive magnetic plates to put them up, and they never fell down. Those magnets were strong, but that adhesive was stronger. Each adhesive strip ended up removing a section of paint from my walls and from my wooden cabinet over the sink. I was able to paint over the wall spots, but the wood was nothing I could fix. My maintenance person was super understanding, fortunately. Now, I’m at my new place. I’d love to use the lights. I’d love to attach them to the walls again, though maybe with different adhesive this time. I can’t try command strips to adhere the plates to the walls, though, because I can’t get the adhesive to come off of the magnetic plates at all. I’ve tried scraping them, heating them, soaking them in various cleaners and Goo Gone for hours - nothing has worked. I’ve gotten the paint residue from my last apartment off so that adhesive is now pristine, but it’s also basically a weird gel stuck to the magnetic plate that I can’t remove. They’re sitting in a bowl in my kitchen as I type this. I have no idea what to try next. I know I can use them without the plates, but finding a way to attach them to the walls and then easily remove them again to charge them will also be a pain. Truly, at the end of it all, I wouldn’t be going through all of this if I didn’t love the lights. As an incredibly lazy person who gets easily frustrated, the effort I’m putting into this should be a testament to their quality. ... show more

This is my 4th set of these lights. I absolutely love them. They are bright and i love the motion detection as I use these in cabinets and closets that are dark. I open my pantry door and they go on. I can see all my items. Close the door and it will go off automatically. I just put one in my closet that does not have a wired light in it. Also came in handy when I lost power for 4 hours one day. With the magnetic strip attachment, you can easily remove them for charging. The charge time is quick from drained to fully charged. You will not be disappointed in this purchase. Love these. They go a long time between charges, are thin so they fit under counters or under shelves. Magnet sticks well to modular shelving, where others I tried did not. Light intensity can be adjusted, and it can be adjusted to come on with motion which is perfect for my closets. This is my second set. I ordered cheaper ones, but they did not work as well and were bulkier. Found these again and ordered more.
