The design is super sleek and the vents seem to be big enough to allow a sufficient amount of air flow, which was the main reason I purchased this. I like the minimal design, as it allows me space to customize in the future, if I choose to do so. I cannot stress enough how easy the plates were to install! Could never stand the look of the stock side plates of the new PS5, they made it look like a futuristic busted clam shell, I don’t know who came up with the design of these but they’re sleek, form fitting, look great and make my ps5 look like a high tech, sleek oversized modem or router. I just put them on over the weekend and instantly fell in love with the design, they’re black too so they’ll hide dirt & fingerprints way better than the old white ones. 5 Stars despite being a bit on the pricey side, the vendors must be proud of these, overall they’re definitely a good looking quality made product, and don’t get me started on the install…… It’s Effortless, very simple swap, Great Job 👊😎 ... show more

Love the design, the color, & not to bad of a value. However, air filters would have been ideal though I did add metal air filters internally to protect the cooling fan. Since the shell swap, it made the PS5 much cooler by 70%. Every heavy gaming has been tested from RPG games (especially Elden Ring) to almost every genre shooter games on the market. The only light warmth I've seen every to occur but hardly noticeable was call of duty. As far as durability goes it feels sturdy. ... show more

Looks are great, I like the cleaner look as opposed to the busted clamshell look of the original plates. Only minus one star as they were a bit harder to install opposed to the original plates. I installed the dust covers they sell along side these plates. I will probably never remove these so the tight fit is probably permanent for my PS5. Oh well, they look fantastic. ... show more
