I put easy in quotes because placement of the lights is easy, but I had some mild difficulty getting the backing off the sticky backings once I cut them apart, but I don’t think there’s really anything that could be done to help that. Great, until they weren't. Six months in and they are like a string of dying stars. They are uniformily about 30-40% as when new. No longer useful for makeup, whatever. Not a big investment, but will likely be a bit of a hassle to remove them from the mirror. In all fairness, I am amending my review. It's true that the lights went dim. All the on/off did not seem to remedy the situation. After about a week, though, they have recovered their old brightness. This may have been (I am not entirely sure) due to having un and re-plugged them from the outlet. So, first, if your lights seem to have died, try this fix. Whether or not it is possible to perform a self-fix, the seller already stepped in and offered me a full refund. I declined, but now know that if their product fails they stand behind it. ... show more
