    • Just what I needed. Buy this light.

I have a small garden shed and found that the previous owners put in outlets and switches but never wired anything up, and it would cost a few thousand dollars to solve the problem. I finally decided to try this light, which is rechargeable by USB. The light is great. Actually made so that it can swivel around into multiple positions and can have either the up light on, the downlight or both. You can also adjust the brightness. I charged it up, and took it to the shed. First put on each side of the door, but decided works better with the motion sensor on the ceiling. As soon as I walk into the shed, the lights come on automatically and will go off shortly after leaving with the use of a motion sensor. I believe it also has a dusk-to-dawn sensor if you want to use the light that way. Gives a great deal of light without being too harsh. It is nice, because it is on a magnetic swivel so they can be directed as needed while in the shed. They can also be taken down to charge back up again without having to unscrew anything. I also liked that you can take it down and use it as a flashlight, which is a great feature for working or needing to find something in the dark corners and backs of shelves in the shed. Great buy, glad I purchased it. UPDATE: After using found that the switch,, while having a motion sensor, does not come on and stay on from Dusk to Dawn. The motion sensor works dusk to dawn, but you can't set the light to just stay on dusk to dawn. Still worthwhile, but not as I thought so I took away a star. ... show more

These reading lights are very well made, swivel 360, have a bright light and are able to be attached to wall or bed with either screws or the double back tape included. They are touch sensitive and have several levels of brightness. Great set of reading lamps!

UPDATE: Just received my 4th one! BUY IT! I’ve now got 3 & about to purchase my 4th. These lights are ideal for a small space such as a closet, a hallway. As well as a bigger space, as to center lighting for my basement. The battery life is exceptional! The 3M double-sided tape to apply the light holder, is another excellent touch. These lil babies are top notch quality! So far I’ve gotten the white & black. Think I’m going in for the woodgrain on this one lol. If you’re skeptical, don’t be, just buy it! ... show more

These are so nice and I love the different light modes. Easy to put up. However, battery doesn’t last long. I put these on for a couple hours at night and have to charge both everyday. The light doesn’t last long.

I needed lights for my nightstands but needed something that didn't take up table space or require plugging in as I have no outlets nearby. As a renter in a small space, being able to conserve space without damaging my walls is very important. Thankfully I came across these lights and decided to try them out - they're perfect! They are bright, easy to use, and charge quickly. The magnet feature, though I don't take them off the magnets often, is also useful when I need light elsewhere. It's been great as a reading light and just ambient light. I usually use them on the lowest brightness as it's bright enough for most tasks. Hot tip for other renters who are concerned about damaging walls or paintjob - I know these are less damaging to walls than screw-in fixtures, but 3M adhesive is very strong and not exactly meant to be temporary. My solution? Doublesided nano tape - yes, the viral tape that claims to hold up bricks. After deciding where to place my lights, I stuck on a strip of the nano tape there (without removing the protective film) and diligently pressed it into the wall, working out any air bubbles. I left the strips to hang for ~20min or so before taking of the protective film and positioning just the magnetic base of the lamps onto the strip (without taking off the protective film of the base's 3M tape!). Then I really took my time to press and hold the base against the tape, smoothing out any bubbles again. I left the bases to adhere to the nano tape overnight and finally attached the lights the next day. It's been 3 weeks and they're still hanging strong and don't seem to move when I pull the lights off the magnets. I'll eventually xacto the excess nano tape off (you can see in my closeup photo that there's some extra tape), but I'm very happy with the whole setup for now. I have lights where it was hard to get them, they look great, and they were very affordable. I love that I'll be able take them with me when I move without damaging the wall, and that, thanks to nano tape, the original adhesive sticker is still intact in case I ever need a more permanent setup. Easy to install and provides ample light for reading. Love that the light swivels so I can aim the light where it is needed. Not sure on the battery life yet as I've only had it few days. Ordered another for my husbands side of the bed. Also: it attaches by a strong magnet so when it needs charging you just pull it off and use the handy-dandy cord that was provided. ... show more
