This was the thickest, best priced option I could find for our pool. I don't feel any sharp spots coming through the new pool liner now that this is down. However, the images on the product look like there's a bit of rubber coating on one side and that's not true - it's felt on both sides. That image looks like a bit of a misleading graphic. It's doing the job but I wish it was a bit less expensive for what it is. It's easy to setup, just prep your area and lay this down before setting your pool up.

I added this under my pool mainly to protect against sharp objects and wear over time, and it’s been doing great so far. It creates a solid layer between the ground and the pool which gives me more peace of mind about avoiding punctures.
