This is like a dense felt pad. It fits about a foot or so larger than the perimeter of my 10x15 ft pool. I've had it for about 2 mo now and it doesn't collect debris and grass clippings as bad as I thought. It does stay wet longer than I'd prefer. I thought it would dry faster, especially being black in the sun. I put it over rubber deck tiles and it softens the bottom of the pool nicely, then gives a soft place to stand around the pool and getting in. It stays down fairly well, even in the wind. It was just like the description, which is very nice

Thought this pad was going to be a pad which means it’s thick. It was absolutely not thick I had to buy two of them. It is not worth the money next year. I will put sand underneath my pool as a barrier and to make it soft.

BUYER WARNING- This is basically a THIN layer of felt- not a true cushioning layer. The description is very MISLEADING… claims of ‘thicker heavy duty cushioning, especially with the phrase “blocks rocks” and “excellent ground separation” across gravel. It may work as a basic protective barrier on smooth, level surfaces, but it is not suitable for rocky or uneven bases despite the marketing claims.

Thickness pictured is not thickness received. Does not come close to the appearance shown or the quality pictured. The reason I purchased is because it looked of thicker and higher quality, truly is not. It’s like a harder felt board quality. Gave it two stars because at least it makes a good weed cover under the pool. So honestly it was an expensive weed cover! Do not purchase.
