The only negative things I can say about these earbuds are: The way they plug in to the charging case is kind of weird and doesn't seem very secure, and the battery life is not the greatest, 6-8hrs at most with noise cancellation off. Everything else is pretty much amazing across the board. The Noise Cancellation is VERY solid. The ability to connect to two devices at once & switch between them via the app is pretty great. The tap controls are easier to use compared to the older Bose Earbuds I have, these only require one tap to play/pause, the old ones it was double tap. Switching Noise modes is a simple long press, next track/restart track are also tap functions which you can find in the instructions. Volume control is what you would expect, swipe one way for up, the other way for down. The build quality of the Earbuds themselves is good. They fit pretty snug with the default rubber-pieces that came on them for me, which is good because that aides in the noise cancellation/sound dampening even when you don't have the Active feature turned on. The sound quality on these things is AMAZING. This & the ANC is what you should be buying these for, superior sound & great noise cancelling tech. Are they worth the price? That's really subjective, as to how much of a music/audio snob you are. In my case, I have noticed that there are parts in several songs I've listened to for over a year, that I'm hearing notes or instrumentation clearly that was muddled or almost not even present on other sound devices. This is the first time I’ve ever left an Amazon review. These Bose earbuds are friggin’ amazing!!! I had owned many wired Bose earbuds, along with AirPods. The noises-cancelling of these earbuds are spot on with the ability to quickly “tap” between quiet, aware and immersive. Quality of sound is unmatched. They stay in my ears way better than my AirPods, especially when sweaty and working out. Easy connectivity, sleek design, nice charging case. Just can’t say enough about these. Will be ordering a pair for every family member. Price kept meet bay for a year, but SO worth it. Wish I would have taken the leap a long time ago!!!!!! ... show more

The Immersive Audio mode is especially impressive—music feels fuller, more spacious, and almost three-dimensional. The fit is excellent as well. The earbuds sit securely and comfortably, and they stay put even if you’re moving around a lot or working out. Noise cancelling is top-notch, just what you’d expect from Bose. The Desert Gold limited edition color looks even better in person—premium and unique without being flashy. I replaced my old Bose SoundSport wireless earbuds (which I enjoyed) with the new QuietComfort Ultra model. I was not prepared for how much better these new buds sound! The setup was very easy, as I already had the Bose app on my phone. The app settings are all self-explanatory. The noise cancellation feature is truly amazing. I was able to listen to music while running my vacuum cleaner - that's a first for me. I heard a very faint whine from the vacuum. Using them on the treadmill also blocks out all but the faintest of outside noise. You don't have to turn up the volume to enjoy music in these environments. It reminds me of old-school on-ear headphones. The sound is also excellent. I'm picking up little details in songs that I've been listening to for years. The bass is solid without being overwhelming. I can't compare them to other audiophile-level buds, but I'm more than satisfied with the quality. The fit is also great so far. The earbuds come with the medium ear tips installed, and I didn't have to change them. My only gripe so far is the touch controls. If I'm wearing the earbuds and adjust them, I accidentally pause the music. It's not a huge deal, but a little annoyance. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this purchase. ... show more
