Yes, it's aluminum, extendable and 12 ' long but it is the thinnest, flimsiest pool pole I have ever encountered. ... I assembled it, extended it and supported it on two brackets 9' apart. ... It is already sagging in the middle with no weight , pool brush or leaf basket attached to it nor is it extended beyond 10' ... I am going to return it if possible as I seriously doubt it would last more than a few days if used with a brush or leaf basket attached to it. ... My recommendation - DO NOT PURCHASE THIS!!! ... show more

For the price this product works good! The more you make the pole longer the worse it is to use. When extended full length it feels like it will break, but hasn’t yet! It gets the job done and we are happy with it.

Bought this to replace an OLD pole I had. Liked the feature of how this telescopes to extra length and for storage. The pole works well, but does not always stay extended. When brushing the pole's locking sections will sometimes collapse and wont stay locked in place. I have tried to tighten the sections as much as possible, but still happens from time to time. Overall not a bad product, gets old having to retighten the locking sections. ... show more
